  • In this video, I will show you how to use Coach leather cleaner and Coach moisturizer to clean and condition an aftermarket leather watch strap for Apple Watch. These products are designed to gently remove dirt and stains from leather, and to nourish and protect the leather from drying and cracking. They are sold in 4 fl oz bottles, and you can find them online or at Coach stores.
I will be using a Pegai leather watch strap as an example, but this technique will work really well for any leather watch strap, as long as you use gentle products that are suitable for leather. Pegai is an online store that offers high-quality leather goods at affordable prices. They have a variety of leather watch straps for Apple Watch, in different colors and styles. You can check out their website to see their products and read their reviews. Pegai leather watch straps are handmade with full grain leather, which means they have natural marks and textures that make each strap unique.
To clean and condition your aftermarket leather watch strap for Apple Watch, you will need the following items:
    • A microfiber cloth
    • Coach leather cleaner
    • Coach moisturizer
    • Your Apple Watch and aftermarket leather watch strap
The first step is to remove your Apple Watch strap from your watch. To do this, press the release button on the back of your watch and slide the strap out. You can also watch this video for a visual guide on how to remove your Apple Watch strap.
The second step is to apply a small amount of Coach leather cleaner on a clean part of the microfiber cloth. Then, gently rub the cloth on the surface of the leather strap, using circular motions. Make sure to cover both sides of the strap, and avoid getting the cleaner on the metal parts. You can also use a soft brush or a cotton swab to clean the edges and corners of the strap.
The third step is to wipe off any excess cleaner with a dry part of the microfiber cloth. Then, let the strap air dry for about 10 minutes, or until it is completely dry.
The fourth step is to apply a small amount of Coach moisturizer on another clean part of the microfiber cloth. Then, gently rub the cloth on the surface of the leather strap, using circular motions. Again, make sure to cover both sides of the strap, and avoid getting the moisturizer on the metal parts.
The fifth step is to wipe off any excess moisturizer with a dry part of the microfiber cloth. Then, let the strap air dry for another 10 minutes, or until it is completely dry.
The final step is to reattach your Apple Watch strap to your watch. To do this, slide the strap into the slot on your watch until you hear a click. You can also watch this video for a visual guide on how to attach your Apple Watch strap.
And that’s it! You have successfully cleaned and conditioned your aftermarket leather watch strap for Apple Watch. By doing this regularly, you can keep your leather watch strap looking good and feeling comfortable for a long time.

Microfiber? Wouldn't that be too harsh? I think using a cotton cloth, or other natural fibre cloth, might be a better approach. Otherwise this is a great vid, very helpful.

It’s a good point. You are probably right, cotton would be a better call but since this sort of cleaning is only every few weeks it’s probably okay. I think for something like an Omega or other “luxury” straps cotton would be a good choice 👍🏽.
