Hydro destroyer was my 1st T6 ship, I was ready to give up on the game. I have nothing to judge it on, but it’s definitely better than leveling up ships I got for free. I am surviving lol PVE now, very few responds .I felt like this was the best fit. Ty.

The rep space trait controlled counter measures gives almost 10% bonus dmg to controlled targets and since ur spamming control boff abilites it happens frequently, may be something to consider instead of chrono capacitor

Basic mathematics, your crit severity should be 10 times more than your crit chance. ie: if your chance is 50% and your sev is only 200%, it is being wasted. It is best to balance it at 35% chance and 350% sev. If you don't get why just image, 2x5=10, 5x2=10, but 3.5x3.5=12.25.
Brought my first toon out of mothballs with prometheus/hestia. Hestia still tended to go splat but now I can survive some. Battle cloak is fun when separated haha

I have a romulan science character the flies jem carrier with a gravity wrll build, reacquainting myself with hiw to play it. I know its probably not the best but i like ot. And solo mostly. I understand the circle broadsie of the beam boat. Needed something to show me cannon build or frontal type piloting

Hi Stu, I am wondering if you could cover alternative consoles that could be obtained without having to buy a bunch of new ships. I am willing to spend some cash for keys, Lobi etc, but can't really afford to buy a bunch of ships that I won't likely use just for the console. Forgive me if you have covered this but I didn't find the video on your channel.
Great video! I really need to practice ISA runs. My damage is there (I think) but I keep screwing up the piloting for speed runs. On the build, you should swap Unstable Warp Bubble for Clean Getaway. With the pilot changes, it’s now one of the best uncon procs. It has a 15 second minimum cooldown and it gives you a speed boost. Get those consoles back quicker!
Build is awesome. I have a hang-up about single character unlocks. I have done that before, but I vastly prefer account-wide unlocks. As a consequence, I do not have a lot of those unique traits and consoles. That being said, I still have no lack of resources to make solid, end game builds. For this one, I did a Ba'ul AP DBB, with the Lobi set, using Surgical Strikes. Didn't parse, but I yawned through my Elite patrols. Everything just sort of went ~poof~.
Have to ask. What's a reasonable expectation to reach with some C-Store ships and their traits? I can't get the damn eternal much past 120k DPS and i'm at a loss whether it's just me being bad at piloting or straight up requiring more gear. It's definitely not really enough output for elites, but it's totally overpowerd for most advanced stuff. Except when i end up pulling aggro, the ship is very explody when actually shot.
what if you're a eng/sci capt? the "a good day to die" trait an't going to work for you, so what is a different trait you can put in if one of the 2 other class's?
The Drop rate for a epic token is the lowest I've ever seen in my whole time playing MMOs and other games that have lock box drops. I'm personally hoping Deca will raise that drop rate.
So I'm curious Mcstu I looked over what Spencer recommended with engage the hydra vs what you have here. You feel your damage is pretty comparable the way he was talking that console is pretty insane.
Passive on the Hydra console is broken, it's a copy/paste of the Swarmer Matrix, which has always been broken. Does not boost speed/turn/damage for targetable torpedoes.

Because SS is single target it would not do as well as CSV. This could vary depending on the map your playing on but on the average CSV will out perform SS.
SS works really well but is hampered by the borked tab/auto un-targeting that STO has. If you are looking for record-breaking numbers, CSV is probably better. If you just want something hard-hitting, SS is fine. I really enjoyed my Ba'ul AP Dual Beam Banks with SS.
i guess im lucky with epic tokens, gotten 14 since playing and i havent invested all that $$ and i still have 3 in bank i dont need anything on my toons yet.
What MCSTU said. My Ba'ul AP DBB rig is awesome. Thinking about switching over to Pulse Phasers so that I can maximize Firing Cycle Haste with Surgical Strikes.

Not even close to a moral quandary. STO operates on a Free-to-Play model. That means that they create an environment to entice players/customers into spending money and time in-game. The "free" gear from events is part of that incentive package. You are meant to have those awards. If Cryptic has failed to entice more from you, that's their problem.

No, you can buy personal space traits from the exchange that other people have got out of lock boxes and put up for sale.

You should be running carrier wave shield hacking trait on this intel ship, tremendous amount of damage in short order

Oooh, which ship did you use that on? I have Ba'ul weapons including the lobi set and am always keen for good surgical strikes builds

They're comparable, Spencer's has a higher damage potential but requires very good piloting and activation timing....

They've supposedly fixed that with what was read in the latest patch notes.

Ok I do like the turret's on a 5-3 but I like making it a scatter volly like a kelvin ship firing All it's phasers to bad we don't have that yet

There are additional skins in the bundle.
It also kitbashes with the Promtheus and the other free ships in that family.

infinity marked weapons scale up to either MK X or XII, so you will want to upgrade or replace them.

The Arbiter Battlecruiser is a pretty good ship, but trait that comes with it is a must have for energy weapons builds.
