The thing with the Bloodline is the current draw isn't really anyone in the Bloodline (with the exception of Jacob Fatu, who is an amazing wrestler), it's the inevitable return of Roman Reigns, and all the hell that comes with him. But the first time Solo tries to get on the mic against Reigns, Reigns is going to destroy him. Reigns is going to make Solo look so insignificant it's going to destroy any credibility he has at being the Tribal Chief. I also don't know what kind of role/push Tama Tanga and Tanga Loa are going to have if the Bloodline comes to end. Solo and Jacob Fatu have the skills to stand on their own, the other two haven't shown anything impressive (I mean botching a low blow isn't a reassuring sign.).
I don't agree with Scott Steiner's comment. I think you absolutely can build a business on talent alone, as that's sort of what New Japan has done. There are storylines, I suppose, but the focus is very clearly on the in ring talent, which i think is what AEW is trying to do as well. It's just... Doing it worse.

As an AEW fan, I agree. They have some pretty good stories going on right now, but the catch is that almost all of them revolve around a championship. And a lot of the time matches are just two guys thrown together. Granted they have a VERY good match most of the time, but it's hard to get invested when there's little to no story. And having some random guy from Japan or Mexico, while a nice surprise and does make for a good match, is going to mean nothing to the average fan who doesn't invest time into watching AAA, CMLL, NJPW, or AJPW. For those cases they should really announce it ahead of time and if nothing give a reason why the wrestler is so important. For example, announce "Next week" or "In two weeks (insert wrestler name) is going to be in action on Dynamite", along with a short list of championships or other milestones, as well as any relevant connections to full-time AEW wrestlers, to give the audience at least SOME reason to care.
I hope Tony K keep Bryan on at Aew and give him the power to over see anything the EVP and the CEO does like firing wrestler and keeping the titles just for themselves so everyone gets a fair shot and to start some storyline
I don't think the Bloodline storyline is crashing. I think it's possible there was too much space in between powerbombing Heyman, and whatever is to come at Summerslam. Or maybe something to give the other characters something to chew on. Tama Tonga just has his look. Tanga Loa hasn't given anything yet than a big body. I spend most of the time just trying to keep their character names straight in my head. Jacob Fatu is very impressive. I think a funny bit would be naming Jacob Fatu as Solo's Wiseman. A very tiny segment of Nick Aldis or a backstage reporter trying to talk business with Jacob Fatu might give enough to carry the audience to the next inevitable Bloodline beatdown.
Scott Steiner isn't wrong. If have no storylines to interest people. What is the point? I see a few here and there, but none that make me want to tune in every week.
