Thanks for the tomato tip to take off that big flower and put the stakes in early.
It's called live food, when you grow your own harvest and eat very fresh healthy food it is definitely much better than store bought that is possible to be a few weeks old. I love looking at all the different fungi and mushrooms that pop up but I also wouldn't eat them. Happy gardening everyone around the world, green love from Queensland Australia 💚🌲🌏🙏

@@campcreekhill8933I didn’t know I figured this late in the year we were through that. Will need to watch weather reports more closely.

@@andybroady1970 have you ever heard the old saying around Melbourne that you plant your tomatoes on Melbourne Cup weekend? That's because generally October has the last frosts👍good luck with your tomatoes

@@campcreekhill8933 thanks yes I know the saying -- they're not planted but I have left them outside so they got exposed to the frost. They seem to be okay so will go in the ground in a couple of weeks.

Staked my tomatoes but the weight from my beautiful tomatoes pulled the main branches down causing bent main branches. Now used round cage planters from Bunnings to hold them up.
You should have a patch over your eye to stop from eye strain to allow to heal. Hope it heals soon. 🙏🏻

Never knew what that big central flower bud was, have seen it plenty on my plants here in (yes) Adelaide! And I feel your pain on the pest front. Growing food can be a constant battle. If it's not aphids, ants, slugs/snails, mites, caterpillars or fungal infections then it's birds, weather or in my case rats that eat and decimate absolutely everything.
