26:30 Justin is supposed to target and roll 1-3 separate attacks for 1 damage each. He rolls once and counts it as a 3 point potential damage attack.
Great gameplay video! A few observations. Based on what I've seen on a couple other videos, you guys didn't line up the arrows on the buildings (one on the top of the building and one on the base for the building), which would have allowed the tag locations to align with the hexes. Also, missiles appear balanced for what they allow you to do: 1) they seem to cost less energy (at least compared to energy weapons) to fire and have the ability to be fired indirectly if your Recon Unit has LOS to the target - I don't think energy or ballistic weapons can fire indirectly. Also, the Repair Unit stat card on the Weta video had a repair roll of 3-6; rolling 3-5 allowed you to move a damaged card to your discard and a roll of 6 allowed you to move a damaged card to your hand. Lastly, damage cards are removed face down without looking at them from your draw pile...so you never know what you lost, until you go to repair it.
they figured out about not having the buildings facing the same way at around 50:55
I didn't want to like this game because I wanted to ignore the KS, but it looks very fun. Damn these fun games!
towards the end of the game, John used his repair bot to put his Orbital strike back in his deck. The card specifically says that it cannot be repaired.
played the demo at last year's gencon, had a lot of fun with my buddy.
Nice comeback!
I'm pretty sure Justin's opponent failed to pay energy for the 2nd support he deployed. It worked out because he got a sponsored energy free shot that round.
Can't wait for a release in Belgium (can't take a pledge)
John tagged the same building twice. He should have taken one sponsor card, but he took 2. 44:07
Man i want this game!
Is that a new Carnevale shark miniature i spy on the shelf in the background?
I can see magority tag on buildings could mean sponsorship could snowball if one players ahead on troops
great play through!
:D
like john I also first seen this on tested and thought it was awesome
i've never like board game, but it looks kinda fun
I don't get how having the going first is an advantage. Moving 2nd is way more powerful. Are you sure Glory Hound doesn't give you the choice?
Do you think this will play best with two or four players?
alley shot? +2 and also he's in partial cover +1. GKR IS 5 So he needs an 8 to hit
Orange player seems to accidentally discard into the damage pile a lot..
Battletech but for kids? :O
Damage seems to work like a modified 40k system, which was never really that great. It always leaves a bitter taste with massive luck swings.
