From the miscreants at Weta Workshop and Cryptozoic comes Weta Workshop’s first tabletop game, set in the sports-crazy dystopian future of Giant Killer Robots!
The story goes like this...Big plague. People died. Governments fell over. Things got bad, real fast. Fortunately, the corporations saved the day! Under their command, things got a whole lot better. But what to do with all those abandoned cites? There’s money to be made in the salvage rights. But which corporation gets them? Enter the Giant Killer Robots League.
GKR: Heavy Hitters is a standalone, deck-building tabletop game for 2-4 players, combining high-quality collectibles with dice-rolling, card-building and tactical play! Pilot your Heavy Hitter (the biggest, baddest robot on the board) and a squad of three Support Units through the ruins of an old city, competing to either wipe your opponent off the map or reduce four skyscrapers to rubble.
I'd buy this just for the Heavy Hitters alone.
The board game does look like it could be fun.
But I won't lie, I'd love to see a video game using the aesthetics in the video! Maybe as a stretch goal?
A shame I'm just now discovering this. Wish more vids was made. Would have loved to see something w Super Sweet and Extra Salty.
the artwork is stellar!
They are the guys who created special effect in Lord of The Ring? Whatever you make I will buy it.😂
Impressive!
I saw a set up of this last year at GenCon. Looks fucking rad as hell. Sad I didn't get to play the demo tho
Your link isn't actually to your campaign's page. You just linked directly to the main project page on Kickstarter.

hope this helps
Cheers Eric. Not sure what went wrong there. Chalk it up to a glitch in the Matrix. Should be fixed now.
'each dice' is not proper English - you guys may wanna do a quick spellcheck on all this. looks fucking awesome either way!
Does a $1 donation grant you access to pledge manager.
***STOP: ???
This is basically Square Enix's "Front Mission" ripoff.
I know nothing about this other than the material shown here but what I do know is Front Mission and this looks nothing like that...AT ALL!. Not the mechs, not the concept and definitely not the 'gameplay'.
