I’m so excited to get my all-in pledge. Now that it’s getting closer to the US distribution, I find myself watching these videos again. Such a great combination of players. So much fun to watch. I love the dynamic between Warren and Leo. I wish they would team up more for more game presentations.
I think Hercules re-roll should be limited to one target per attack or reduce the re-roll to a single die. The act of wiping a collection of units in the same area makes that power in combination with a thrown obstacle utterly brutal. Also I think the being thrown into the lava should be something that can only happen if thrown from the same area or it becomes very deadly to these thrown projectiles or limit that fact gods can't be knocked in by thrown attacks
That was a truly epic battle to watch! You all seemed to have so much fun. I laughed at all of the edits on Léo's turns. How much time was cut? I'm in for the Typhon pledge and can't wait to try it all out.
Love the reports, Hercules is way to overpowered though. He shouldn't be able to reroll throw attacks. This would even it him out alittle. Damaging that many units and re-rolling each time is way OP.
Do the ruins come with the expansion? Would be a cool mechanic if characters with mighty throw could move the ruins acting as bridges to other places. This could make the map changeable and allow slower troops to move easier and slow down your opponents. Adding moveable scenery would introduce a whole new level of tactics. Great game, hope to see another play through soon.
Awesome game, still a few things need ironing out, mainly the throwing ability which is far too OP for my liking. Leo didn't play great but he picked his units well.
Well it's an area of effect attack that costs an AoW card and requires an object to be thrown. On top of that, Heracles is slow moving with only 1 movement. I'd say the OP part of it is it's range of 2. With a range of 1 it would be pretty easy to play around it.
In the Herc-attack that killed Hera, Leonidas could have guarded the troops (effectivly nullify one of the three attacks since the attack on Leonidas would have been against him already dead) and then the troops could guard her?
Are you allowed to activate a unit spend an art of work card to draw 2 cards and then activate a second unit? That is what happened to Hera. Also, And I think he activated Aries moved and attacked spent an art of work card and had Aries absorb a God poop. Isn't that activating the same unit twice?
I wouldn't say it's too powerful. It just demonstrates the power of Strength of Earth, and the danger of clumping up like Warren did. Keep in mind that if he had spread them out more, that each thrown object would have killed one or wounded one unit. Warren just made mistakes in his game play. It also accentuates the strength of Heracles rerolling 3 dice each attack, to get the results he wanted.
***Please like this comment if you agree*** I think that the Hydra doesn't seem very "Lore Focused". I think it would be a better Idea if the hydra's attack stat grew as it lost health instead of was reduced. It would be as if, for each head chopped off it grew more heads, i.e. more attacks. Who else would like to see this in the released game?
Hydra doesn't have regenerating heads, though it could regenerate wounds when it was harmed. The "lore" of it having regrowing heads came far after the mythology of the hydra was created, it wasn't an ability the creature had in Grecian mythology, I believe it was added during reinterpretations of Heracles' tale by romans? could be the other way around but yeah, didn't have that ability at first.
These guys have the best group, the best playthrough videos, and this is an awesome game! Even six years later, it’s enjoyable to watch.
I love Leo. So good at explaining things and so fun to watch!
Shame mythic games and monolith split

That was awesome, well done Leo....Don't leave us waiting so long for the next video guys as these mythic battles are EPIC
Guys, I can't look at these figurines!
They are so perfect painted!!!
This looks like so much fun. Watching this after the Ragnarock Kickstarter campaign to watch the gameplay.
Get Leo back in for a game of Ragnarok!

;)
Same here! What a game that was! So hyped to get my Typhon!

To me, the 3 re-rolls seem more OP than the throw ability.
I think it's the combination that's overpowered. AOE, 7 dice, 3 rerolls AND knock back in this scenario was crazy OP cause of the lava
Kris Froyum I don't think heracles should be able to reroll damage caused by lava etc as you are falling in it not avoiding a sword or spear
Wow! Love this battles, guys.
Damn this blasted video! Just added the three judges to my pledge...

3 rerolls, can throw, hit unlimited number of people in one space, and is only half god, seems a little too powerful.
Well this helped me decide to go full typhon on my pledge :)
They need to make an Alexander the Great miniature and the Companion Cavalry.
i cannot wait! backing this was a great decision!
FINALLY! How I have waited and longed for the next BoW MB:P-video :D
the more I see this game and how to play the more it interest me
agreed that heracles is too powerful as it is. Maybe not re-rolling throws, or just re-rolling once per turn, tops.
That was fun to watch. I am a bit confused about how many minis can fit in an area but I'm sure the rules mention that.
Its written a number on each area :)
grasvard oh that's really smart. Thanks!
Great let's play. Couldn't call a winner at any point.
34:09 Target is 7. 3 dice are rerolled with a single +1. the results are two 2's and a 1. Why isn't this 3 hits as Warren first announced?
Awesome game, still a few things need ironing out, mainly the throwing ability which is far too OP for my liking. Leo didn't play great but he picked his units well.
Heracles's throwing objects ability to be clear.

IMO it's the always re-rolls 3 dice ability that's making everything else he does OP...
In the Herc-attack that killed Hera, Leonidas could have guarded the troops (effectivly nullify one of the three attacks since the attack on Leonidas would have been against him already dead) and then the troops could guard her?
I can see an issue with tracking deceit tokens. It's a bit muddled.
do models come painted?

I saw the same thing, is that right?
Is there a picture or video of all Minis pinted?
Throwing objects seems a little OP imo, Heracles only threw 2 objects and destroyed warrens entire army. Seems far to powerful.
I wouldn't say it's too powerful. It just demonstrates the power of Strength of Earth, and the danger of clumping up like Warren did. arcus could send the hydra to the starting deployment zone right?
Heracles was full on beast mode.
Brilliant!!
All you guys ARE in a GOOD place! :)
A very good part. I love :)
does this game exist
Luis Martinez it's on kickstarter, there is still a late pledge open to purchase the game
James Isted wonder how much it looks awesome but I'm a little worried about the tiny boards
@@littlejimmy5020 I got the 2 big boxes...I play with 2 boards put together with one extra movement
Vivement Decembre !!!
the uneven table is driving me mad

i think this would be so much better without the board game aspect of the maps...add a measuring tape or rulers and you have me sold
That would kill my interest in this.
I don't think it would be that difficult to work in those type of mechanics though for an alternate version.
NO
First!
Please buy a proper gaming table ;-)
