I like how you had the foresight to know what was going to make a banger shot, and relayed that information with the pilot. You're doing big things, man. This is a good one.
Thank you brother! When you have a plethora of batteries charged, you don't need that much creativity haha. We just kept trying stuff until we found something that looked cool
This is really great stuff! It seems really hard to find good air-to-air flight footage on the Tube. I sure hope you can do more...might be a lot easier though with RC planes...easier to fly around then at all angles, like you did with the aerobatic hang glider video. RC electric sailplanes would be a good possibility since they have great aesthetics (to me anyway).
Super rad stuff! Gotta share updates on the drones (and also any tips and tricks to getting this all cleared and good to go with the FAA ahead of time as im trying to plan some hot air balloon and sky dive flights.)
Man this is a good video! I don't know how I missed it all these years. I also do chase aviation unfortunately much smaller planes that are RC and much lower speeds LOLI need your drone!
I really loved this! I am also preparing myslelf to do this with baltic bees team and i have a few questions: what motors and frame size should i use to achieve 220kmh and also what top speed did your build achieve? Thx
Mostly because it's better for long range. But also because it's more reliable, easy to waterproof, way better in low light, and nothing needing activation/registration
Wawwww! Serious?! We have all been warned not to fly in aircraft airspace. This is so COOL! Maybe next time you'd like to try use FPV plane to long range chase each other ;-)
@@NikoFilmz I keep exploding 7 inch props at full throttle... with some 1500kv ECO II 2807 emax motors on 6S on an Alfa Monster frame... Used biblade GF flash 7042 and the Cyclone 7056 old model.... I have some Cyclone 7056 Pro that is reinforces at the blade root but I'm not sure it will hold up. Getting paranoid. Full throttle for half a second works fine but when I let the quad accelerate and the motors is revving high then it comes apart. Anyway I though f-that and ordered the "30mm motor" from FPV cycle and a 7 inch cineglide from the same company. Bigger and more drag but also bigger motors. I'm still hesitating what props to use.
Nice bro I didn’t know you flew fpv. I just assumed when I saw that giant DJI in your van, when you came to Greater World in Taos… this is Josh by the way… met you through Eric… Off Grid Guru.. I took your advise, got a DJI fpv. Gunna build my own soon… Anyway, I subscribed… Nice channel
Thank you bro, I used an ND for the first and last day of filming. Should have used one for the second day as well but I didn't so it turned out a bit blown out
Hahah yes dude, thank you! Only a month or two of testing and adjustments left. We're getting really close man, don't want to release our first frame prematurely
This is all Part 107. As long as you’re in uncontrolled airspace (need airport manager approval if you’re near an airport), under 400ft, under 100mph, in communication with the pilot (and with the pilot’s consent), and not flying in a manner that is risky for the full size aircraft, its all legal!

Love the scenes when you went under the plane and circled it. Can't imagine how difficult that must have been. Amazing skills!
Thanks dude! It's not as bad as it looks, planes are pretty predictable. Just have to get used to flying at high speeds and a 60° camera angle
Amazing work dude! The lighting in that wheat field was magical too. Huge fan of your work overall 👊
Thank you Matt! 👊😁 We got pretty lucky with the lighting at the wheat field, it was hazy for weeks prior
Amazing behind the scenes ! Thank you for sharing with us 👏👍🙏
Thanks for checking it out!
Ahhhh so stoked! So happy to be working with you man!
Likewise my dude. This frame we're creating is pretty damn cool. Love the process 👊
Absolutely incredible mate!
Thank you!
These shot are gnarly. Looks legit like Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Baddasss bro did great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Complimenti 🎈
🙏😁
most under rated pilot in 2021.....
All I can say is... EPIC from someone who has flown small planes and Drones.
Thank you bro 🙏😁
Unbelievable footage and what an adventure - thanks for taking me along for the trip
Much love bro thank you 🙌
Awesome shots you got there. Amazing stuff. The way you fly around and below the plane is so sick.
Much love dude thank you! Orbiting planes is too much fun 😁
Superb
🙏🙌😁
perfection
Blurring the speedy prototypes....exciting stuff! Beautiful footage too!
Haha they're not ready to make an appearance just yet. Thank you bro!
Amazing! I'm so glad I found your content! Best shots I've ever seen!! Killing it, cheers from Argentina!
Thanks so much dude, appreciate the love! 🙌
Amazing! Amazing job staying out of the prop wash!
Thank you!
great work from the whole team, very nice love the retract shot 👍👍👍😎
Much love bro, thank you 🙏🙌
OMG! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Much love 🙌🙌🙌
Sooooo proud of you my dude !
Thanks so much brother! 🙏🙌
This was amazing! Zach pointed me towards you and wow, this did not disappoint, can't wait to see where these prototypes end up!
Thank you Jason! Super stoked on the prototypes, we're getting close to finalizing the design

So stoked on this dude youre killing the game
Thank you brother, appreciate it!
Very nice job. The close-flight videos look fantastic in these beautiful evening lights. 😍
Thanks so much mate!
Matt Guthmiller sent me a link to this. Awesome footage man! Absolutely awesome!
Thanks so much!
So many amazing shots in this. Props!
Thank you!
Whoa Awesome flying!
Thank you sir!
Dude! I got sooo pumped at 2:59 when you made that roll under the plane! Unreal bro
That was one of the funnest shots to do bro, thank you 🙌
Super rad stuff! Gotta share updates on the drones (and also any tips and tricks to getting this all cleared and good to go with the FAA ahead of time as im trying to plan some hot air balloon and sky dive flights.)
oh how, you guys made such an incredible awesome job! I love this most cinematic footage and how you communicated together. Whow, whow, whow 😍😍😍
Thanks so much! 🙌🙏
This is super sickkkkkk🤩🤩👍👍!! Amazing footage!! Thank you for sharing 😍😍👍👍!!
This is the next channel to absolutely BLOW UP!! This is incredible, the cutting edge of videography! 🤘😍🚀🥺
Thanks so much Riley, appreciate the love! 🙏😁
The images are incredible. Amazing work! Keep it up 💪💯
Thank you!!
Nice footage. What camera angle did you use to keep up with the plane?
Amazing mah! Which motor and propeller are you using?
Damn these shots turned out so sick!!
Yooo thanks so much bro!
Man this is a good video! I don't know how I missed it all these years. I also do chase aviation unfortunately much smaller planes that are RC and much lower speeds LOLI need your drone!
That was amazing ….no trouble keeping up with the big boys
Thanks dude, it was a blast!
Freaking crazy footage man! Just found your channel. Amazing. What camera was on the drone? Color grade on point
Thank you! I think this was the GoPro 9

Wawww.. thankyou.
🙏😁
Amazing Bro 🤩
killed it!
Appreciate it bro, thanks!
Great job!!! Why do you fly analog? Is it because of the fixed latency? You want to be super precise near planes?
Mostly because it's better for long range. But also because it's more reliable, easy to waterproof, way better in low light, and nothing needing activation/registration
Yow Bro. That’s amazing staffs 🇰🇪
Thank you my dude! 🙌😁
Good job bro amazing shot 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you bro!
Awsome Video like always bro :0
Very smooth, which drone model are you using ? reelsteady in post?
Hi Marco, I used a custom design we've been working on the past few months. Hope to release it in December 🙌
Reelsteady in post, yes

Beaaaaauutiful footage, I would love to try this sometime, on either set of controls 👍👍 keep it going!
Thanks so much 🙌😁
Fantastic, I'm excited to know more about your highspeed setup. I'm currently building a light 7inch for the purpose of high speed chasing.
Thanks dude. Give us a month or two more of testing and we'll have a proper lightweight frame for your high speed chasing 😉👊
@@NikoFilmz Could you share any specs - quad? X8? 7 inch props? 9 inch? I assume it's still a multirotor...

@@Siamect Use APC props. They are stiffer
@@NikoFilmz Thanks... Do you use 6 inch or 7 ?
Hi Niko I love your content 🔥👏👏👏 any update about this frame or setup?
Thank you! Still working on securing a manufacturer
@@NikoFilmz ok thanks for your answer and good luck and good continuation 😉
Great flying niko air2 s army out
Haha thanks dude 👊😁
AMAZING 💪🔥 Good Job
Thank you sir 👊😁
Can’t wait to get you involved at Velocity! Let me know when you have a 150 MPH drone. 🤪🤯
Haha word, give me some time mate. Big things coming 👊😎
Hello I'm the 450th like! and OMG, do I like. From a fellow drone and Private pilot. WELL DONE AND GREAT FLYING BOYZ!
This was indeed interesting but I would have liked to see some shots of the drone itself.
Thank you! Drone is still in prototype phase so I would rather not share any pics of it yet
What kind of drone? What is the top speed / max range for remote control?

man that shot at 2:50 was really awesome. also: did you use an nd to combat those vibez?
Thank you bro, I used an ND for the first and last day of filming. Should have used one for the second day as well but I didn't so it turned out a bit blown out
Dooope!
Planning on doing this. Any tips are appreciated.
Hi Niko! This 6s or 12s?
6s
got me cracking up at 9:!4 trying to figure out where he is haha
😂😂😂
Yo! I need one of these drones so I can definitely not fly over 99MPH chasing subjects! As always, awesome video man.

So how’s this work legally? Is it all part 107? I want to try this but don’t want a letter in the mail from the faa lol

Yeah, not quite ready to share that yet but we're getting close to the final version!
