I’ve been able to Audi driver for over 30 years, had a drive out in an xc 90 recharge and was very impressed,so much so that I bought the slightly smaller xc60 T8recharge ,2019, in full pure electric it like being on a magic carpet, just love the car, looking to upgrade to a slightly newer one.
In normal driving the battery doesn't deplete entirely, ,especially on long runs. Clever electronics see to that. If you are daft enough to drive on full electric until it empty, well . . . .
Insurance is through the roof on this plus charging cost it more expensive to run than a D5..a d5 with volvo polestar upgrade will do 0 to 60 in 6 seconds
Anybody else notice the poor quality on that right-rear door? It doesn't close flush to the body....failure on the quality checker...should've sent it back to get fixed. And WHY isn't there a lock on the door to the recharge port? That's not something I'd want anybody walking by to have access to.
RECHARGE PHEV VERSION. The singular most disappointing aspect of this car is its inability to set a timed charge, using the car or app (believed the same on new XC90 models too). Unless you have a smart home charge point, people like me with a dumb one, on an economy 7 tariff need to be nocturnal to benefit from off peak charging. A retrograde step from earlier models and spoiling a brand new car! Volvo offer no solution and their promise to fix it has not materialised in 8 months and is nowhere in sight. There’s no timer on the market sufficiently highly rated to make using the plug-in cable safe in the UK at least & in any case it takes 9 hours to charge.
I drive a rwd 2.0t, 272HP at 3400 pounds. Zero to 100km/hr in 5.2 sec stock car. Why should I buy this Volvo? Don't get me wrong, I'll probably buy a Volvo wagon next, but not this hybrid nonsense. Edit: Highway speeds 110Km/hr is 5.6 l/100km. 140Km/hr is 7.0 l/100km. Personal mileage and the chassis is more stable at higher speeds than 110km/hr and flat feeling.

What a review. No facts,.. but spot on describing the feel of this indeed lovely car. I have the very same one - since this morning. Love it.
Cringe. Just a review might’ve been better. 6 year olds can’t buy this car but might like the painful starter. It’s a PHEV now review it.
Seriously 🤦♀️
Does everything look pretty normal???
😂
I wish reviews would mention the mpg on a long run after the battery is depleted

It's rated in the upper 20s(27 in US) MPG, if you never plug it in.
Lovely
Lovely indeed.
Are you sure the plug in charges as you drive? I don't think it does...
it does u have to press charge on the screen it charges it with engine
I think you re in the wrong business my friend. I fast tracked through the entire video.

I've been driving since 1976, and never had anyone fuck with my cars. No need to lock the recharge port. If someone wants to get in, they will.
2 minutes to get into it.....
Good review

Hate plug in don't buy any plug in I have XC60 self change
That’s got to be the worst review I have ever listened to
Don’t tell the trees that you have to use coal power to charge it
we use our solar panels

Load of crap. Try to recover when they have broken down.
...why, what happens or what doesn't happen?
I think you think the Volvo is a British car.
You do not know what you are talking about
You are not saving trees, you are starving them, they NEED the CO2
This is the most ignorant comment I’ve ever read on RUclips, impressive.
