interesting re the ride quality being too firm. Have heard this elsewhere and advice is to alter the ride setting, which resolves the firmness. We will see as mine arrives next week. great review thanks
Fantastic job I almost got this package but when you said the noise inside cabin is loud and you feels bumps it disappoints! Not sure if I should go for it now!
woww. so glad i found your video. so many effieciency pluses w/volvo. not as lux inside, but the pure e mileage and the performance are such a priority. thank you!!
Ha! Lots of EVs and PHEVs because the technology interests me a lot. I have a cool Aston Martin DB12 video next week. Thanks for watching and enjoy your Sunday. Juliana 👍
Thanks for a really informative and comprehensive review. Lots of really useful info from actual driving experience. Was the tested model a regular T8 Recharge? I only ask because you mentioned the Polestar mode button, whereas on other versions that I've seen this button is labelled Power. I know Volvo do versions branded Polestar Engineered. Thanks again 🙂
Excellent nose to tail review of this vehicle! Both inside and outside!!! Loved the pop of colour...! LOL Yup!! Via your ankle high red booties. Happy Monday!
I have a ‘24 Ultimate Dark MHEV with 21” wheels and I knew going in I wanted 21”s and their “rougher” ride because the 21s look so good on an XC60… Also it should be noted that the MHEV has four zone climate control versus what you tested in the PHEV (my rear passengers have a screen in the center consul where each passenger can set the temperature independently from the backseat for the backseats.
Sorry volvo, but I have to say NO to abandoning all the physical climate control switches. I'll vote with my wallet and go elsewhere. A funny story: I was at a volvo dealership checking out cars on a sweltering hot day. We got in a black XC60 with black upholstery and it was a furnace inside. I complained to the salesguy about the lack of physical AC controls. He made the excuse that volvo wanted your eyes on the road and voice control was superior to physical controls. Then he spent the next few minutes in vain trying to get volvo's voice control to turn on the AC while everyone was dying and sweating buckets. He finally gave up and had to use the onscreen controls. He was so embarassed lolol.
@@anteradosevic100 the voice recognition in 2019 volvos was terrible. he kept trying that and it didn't work. it also took a while for the system to boot up to even start accepting voice commands. i dont know if volvo has fixed the bugs in their system but the 2019 system was awful.

Great reply! I was going to be more direct. I mean seriously, if you're going to write a question or comment, review your wording before posting so u don't sound as stupid as your comment. Oops... I think I was a bit to direct. 🤣🤷♀️
Watched a prior video of yours before I purchased my XC40 recharge. You always include bits of info I’ve never heard anywhere else. Ty!
Amazing! Thank you for sharing your comments. And, I hope you're enjoying your vehicle. Happy Sunday! Juliana 👍

In the UK, the same car is advertised at almost 50 miles of pure EV range. (49.7 miles or 79.5 km!)
Fantastic job

I love Volvo but hate the screen. I would not get one until they change it in the future
