Its implied that when possessing an animatronic, the individual's consciousness becomes, to a certain degree, tainted by the animatronic A.I. However, this affects some more than others, since the puppet/charlie retained more of her sentience than the others did, but even so, the music box will still keep her at bay. This is pretty much the same case for william, where the springbonnie AI attracts him to sound, though he also has more control over his consciousness, considering he will sometimes ignore the audio entirely.

Springtrap is the PINNACLE of what Fnaf’s horror can live up to. It’s so horrifying to see this thing slowly approach you like it does. I say this THING because it goes so much further than just being an animatronic Rabbit like all the characters in the games before hand. The decay and grotesqueness are pronounced enough to be deemed beautifully uncanny but not be dumb looking. It walks and moves like a man, but the way it reaches you is like an ANIMAL! Prowling, stalking its prey. *Just like it did to those children all those decades ago.*
Springtrap is my favourite, part 3 is an awesome game that has a really eerie atmosphere. Especially the whistling vent noises that play when he is close. I really love when you see him stare at you through the window, the pose is just really creepy.
The first murder in front of the dinner was actually before the bite of 83 accident. There, the crying child got his head crushed due to the sensitivity of the spring locks against moisture, trapping his soul inside Freddy. The FNaF Lore is hardcore and very complex since there aren't many dates besides the bites of 83, 87 and openings of each restaurant.
The FNaF lore is so complex cus it revolves around theories bcus the ´devs´ don´t give us enough information so we would be able to speculate an actually True storyline, that´s what makes it so fun
Quick correction:Henry made the toy animatronics without William since there is a defense mechanism against William in the animatronics. And Elizabeth died before the crying child hence why afton kept scaring him,to stop him from going to a restaurant with animatronics.
William's young son didn't die instantly, he died in the hospital while in a coma afterwards. And when he talks to Golden Freddy at the end, Freddy speaking is his dad or older brother trying to talk to him after the doctors say he is going to die.
To be fair, the line "I always come back" actually makes sense. Afton should have died in that springlock suit, but he came back. He also should have died in the fire of Fazbear's Fright, but he came back. Again.
From my take on this, William Afton was a loving father, he just had issues. After his youngest kid died, he was most likely hellbent on trying to resurrect him, due to his grieving. Once he discovered remnant and found out what it can do, he probably had the mindset that he could make himself live forever. I believe he went after kids instead of teenagers or adults simply because they would be the easiest and wouldn't be able to fight against him, thus making killing them easier. It's really sad when you truly, deeply think about it and how twisted he ended up becoming. This is just my take on what his mindset and motive was and how he unfortunately succeeded into getting what he wanted (in a way).
I thought so too until I found out it was implied he was an abusive father, I have no idea where his desire to kill and/or harm children originated from, but I believe it's somewhat more of a satisfying thing to him (as bad as that sounds)
@@luciennesmilkandhoney Yeah, unfortunately that could be the case with him killing kids to satisfy him. It sadly happens in the real world too. Another thing I suspect is the way he could have been raised, or something in is youth triggered/flipped a switch in is brain that made him think in a horrible way.
@@rowingmelon6075 Well, duh, people are always just the result of genetics interacting with environment. There's only two concepts of why something can happen, either it's random (chaotic) or caused by something else (deterministic). Springtrap is easily the SCARIEST character in the entire franchise. His way of stubbornness and persistence to just kill you is the normal but the scary part is the fact that ya know Freddy or Bonnie or another robot does it because they think YOU killed them. But Springtrap does it just to kill you. The way he responds to the audio lure is just so robotic but the way he looks at you is so human because you can see the sheer hatred and regret of his actions. Springtrap in my personal opinion has the best backstory, design, and atmosphere in the entire FNaF universe
nowa days spring trap is one of the least scariest animatronics in fnaf. Probably because he isnt even a animatronic. But really he isnt that scary, everyone is just like "wow its a decaying body in a rabbit suit AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Its not really scary anymore, The fact everyone acts like hes the scariest thing of all time PLUS the horrible jumpscare, it just isnt that great. You can have an opinion though! I can agree that he is a very cool character lore wise and he does have an ok design! The VR one we dont talk about though.
ngl, 7:20 is one of my fave parts in fnaf. It give such an indescribable feeling and it lurks in my mind a lot. The way he called him "Old friend" even after all he did (Which was probably a form of satire) just topped it off completely. Imagine if he had said "So don't keep the devil waiting, my enemy". It just doesn't work. The wording is perfect and the tone and calmness of his voice, knowing it's all about to be over is just so amazing.
William: *k̳i̳l̳l̳s̳ k̳i̳d̳s̳* Kids: *tries to get revenge* William: *hides in suit* Spring Bonnie working with the kids: ya know what *crushes William*
Springtrap is the creepiest animatronic imo. He has the "no eyebrows" thing that made regular Bonnie look unsettling, on top of being all rotten and having human guts peeking through the holes. There's something about the way he peeks around corners and stares at you. That serial killer inside the suit still enjoys hunting people down, even after he himself died brutally. And that's why he's also my favorite character
He's easily my fav too, I think that his face (compared to Bonnie) is definitely more canine like, which makes him look an animal. Also his eyelids out of all things make him look creepier, as if he's always thinking and aware of his surroundings.
Agreed! The other animatronics I could almost see as 'cute', because they were designed (in universe) to appeal to kids. but Springtrap has legitimately kept me awake at night as I'm sensitive to creepy imagery. I gotta give props to his character designer, I hope that person got a raise and many jobs after this series.
He's still human (even though he just doesn't die) he makes mistakes ( a lot of mistakes) so I think he was still programming Circus Baby, I think that Baby was still in her "beta" design.
This shows how stupid and dumb william is , he will kill every child except his own , like some toxic children who wants to play with other kids toys and refuse to give own toys
@@helloitsokyrago William is not dumb,he is pretty intelligent and calculated. He just did some dumb things.Even if ur smart u can do dumb things or just dumb lol
I personally believe that William ran into Spring Bonnie fully knowing he would die, considering the fact that he had just dismantled all those possessed animatronics and had done experiments with remnant.
Kinda disagree there, but an interesting thought. He probably wanted to scare the souls away using the very thing that the kids would remember from their last moments alive. Also in FNAF 2 you use a mask to fool the animatronics when they come into your room, so perhaps William had the same thought that if he disguises himself as an animatronic, the souls would leave him alone. When the locks slammed shut on him because of the dripping ceiling, that was a look of pure shock and terror. If he poured water on the spring-suit himself while wearing it, then I'd believe you that it was deliberate. But to me, it seemed purely accidental.

The fact that William began killing children after the death of his youngest son, starting with Henry's daughter Charlotte, is very fucked up and heartbreaking. To know that he did this all because the death of his youngest son, proves that he wasn't always an evil man until loosing his children to the machines that he created with his own hands. I'm happy that he ended up getting his demise that he truly deserved but the hands of the victims when he murdered. It still breaks my heart that he backstabbed his best friend in the back, by killing his daughter Charlotte.
Afton was a bad person to start with. He allowed Mike to bully Crying Child, closed the door right on his face when he was crying, and manipulated him through the Fredbear Plush. Afton was neglectful and manipulative to Crying Child the entire time. And @creativename5868 Afton didn't discover Remnant until he created the Funtimes, which in the Novel Trilogy happens after he committed the MCI. So in the games it's probably the same.

Spring trap is by far the scariest alimatronic to me, not mainly because of his looks but because of his backstory, knowing what William had to go through in order for him to fully transform into spring trap gives me chills the worst part is that he keeps coming back half human half alimatronic or as glitchtrap (whose eyes are the scariest thing) he’s the only alimatronic that has the full intent to kill the kids he knows his motives and will always come back.
This game would been a heartbreaking story about a man who lost his family over an accident he couldn't control and tries everything to destroy Fazbear Entertainment and Henry. Yet, they established early on he was always a serial killer. And the accident with his daughter was the perfect excuse to go on a killing spree.

1. Micheal was doing it because William told him to in order to make his son stay away from the animatronics 2. The son didn’t die immediately he went to the hospital and died in a coma
How would William killing Charlotte be revenge? Not only did William also make the faulty animatronic but William’s other son was bullying him for months before his death and killed him too (by kind of accident) and Charlotte wasn’t even there. William really is a psycho.
Others get scared of fnaf and spring trap but the story behind it doesn't scare me but makes me deeply sad. I know it feels wired getting sad over a killer, but I just get so deeply sad for what he went through and what he did. I find myself wanting to cry when I get to deep into the lore, I'm not sure why but it just makes me feel like that.
5:58 the reason William was crushed in the suit was due to spring lock failure however it was stated in FNAF 3 about how to operate any suits that can be worn or be turned into an animatronic (AKA Springlock suits) the phone guy states,"Try not to nudge or press against any of the springlocks inside the suit. Do not touch the springlocks at any time*. Do not breathe on the springlocks, as moisture may loosen them, and cause them to break loose." Now the reason why he was crushed was because of water moisture dropping on the springlock & crushing him, he did not however use any soul ruminant he is actually possessed or referenced in the books to be,"burnt with back eyes & no teath in a hospital where he is injected with anything that could kill a man but he lived on as if he wouldn't die" stating that a child or something else is keeping him alive to Torture him for what he did I forget what book it was but it is there trust me read the books.
@@drandescancelled2825 he wore the suit to try and scare the spirits that we're released from the suits, trying to gain the upper hand like he did so long ago but it failed and his "protection" against the spirits back fired
So it went from William Afton/Purple Guy/possibly Yellow Guy to Springtrap, then to Dark Springtrap, then to Scraptrap, then to Glitchtrap, and now Burntrap. And by extension Glamrock Freddy(since he can control him in his Boss Battle), Vanny(since its obvious when Vanessa is Vanny she's in some kind of trance from him), Montgomery Gator, Glamrock Chica, Roxanne Wolf, Daycare Attendant, DJ Music Man, Wind-Up Music Man, Glamrock Endo's, S.T.A.F.F. Bots, and some arcade machines(since CD 16 confirmed that Patient 46 uploaded Glitchtrap to the Mega Pizzaplex and he splitted there), and also the Special Delivery animatronics(since the Fazbear Funtime Service is corrupted by him).
I guess you know now with all the new info that the crying child’s name is Evan and he wasn’t killed instantly. He remained in a coma where it explains more of his nightmares and why he sees Freddy as a crazy nightmare bear.
I have watched this 4 times so far and it never gets old... Even tho he was a murderer he is still my favorite character and has my favorite backstory so far
The crying child/ Williams younger son wasn’t killed instantly He received near fatal was put into a coma and because of his brother always scaring him and the fact it was the original spring Freddy that put him into a coma before eventually dying in hospital and caused a drift between William and his older son He had nightmares of being in his room with the animatronics trying to get in which was fnaf 4
Springtrap is honestly one of the greatest villains ever made. He's no cosmic threat but his stubbornness and hatred make him a formidable foe. His arsenal of phantoms and robots make him a threatening puppet master who could probably even stand toe to toe with Jason Vorhees and Michel Myers.

I coulden't have said it better.
nowa days spring trap is one of the least scariest animatronics in fnaf.

He's also my favourite character
He's easily my fav too, I think that his face (compared to Bonnie) is definitely more canine like, which makes him look an animal. Also his eyelids out of all things make him look creepier, as if he's always thinking and aware of his surroundings.
Agreed! The other animatronics I could almost see as 'cute', because they were designed (in universe) to appeal to kids. but Springtrap has legitimately kept me awake at night as I'm sensitive to creepy imagery. I gotta give props to his character designer, I hope that person got a raise and many jobs after this series.

@@PeninsulaPaintings im not afraid on the suit im afraid that the behind the suit is a lunatic serial killer
The fact that this rich history and lore came from the mind of a single guy that was told to quit making games. That is completely Awesome.
That explains why William didn’t allow Elizabeth to go near Baby so she wouldn’t get accidentally killed by her.
Why not just program C.B not to kill Elizabeth? He programmed his machines not to kill him.
He's still human (even though he just doesn't die) he makes mistakes ( a lot of mistakes) so I think he was still programming Circus Baby, I think that Baby was still in her "beta" design.

lol what William was trying to hide from the souls
@@smellyguy382 he was hiding but he probably knew he would die they mean

Actually after cc death he discoverd remnant and learnd that it can make you immortal which Was williams wish so he started to murder for more remnant

Your lust for blood has driven you in endless circles, chasing the cries of children in some unseen chamber always seeming so near, yet somehow out of reach. 5:52
That's a good theory *BUT YOUR GOD DAMN PFP IS N O I C E*
