It was actually done in order to keep the existence of Foxy a secret until the game came out. And Bonnie removing his mask was little more than a way to make the trailer more interesting. Bonnie was never intended to run down the hall, it is however a common misconception so I don’t blame you for not knowing. And the reason imputing 1987 on the “Customize Night” menu causes a Golden Freddy jump scare is because way back when the game was first released there were a lot of hoaxes and false rumors that inputing 1987 on the menu would cause a secret cutscene to play out. Scott thought it would be funny to add the jump scare into the game with its 1.1 patch. It was both to dispel the rumors/hoaxes and it was a funny way to troll the people dumb enough to fall for it.
Honestly imagine being able to tell everyone that your dad is the sole creator of one of the most influential horror games in all of gaming history like damn it’s definitely some shoes to fill when you think about it
I imagine that as long as the kids don’t become game developers they shouldn’t feel much pressure. I can’t imagine however having a father so popular in the game industry. So maybe they do.

This is crazy. I was in 6th grade when the first game came out and I remember everyone would play it during P.E when we were supposed to be participating. I remember how much fun the first game was but after that, I forgot about the game for a few years. Now I’m a freshman in college and heard about the Fnaf fandom and the hype for security breach and in all honesty, I never thought the game(s) would get this far. I never understood the lore which is why I’m here now and maybe I’ll finally play Fnaf again after all these years.

When I played fnaf 1 for the first time, I actually managed to get to night 5 without dying once, though I feel like I made it through night 4 by chance.

I remember playing the first game with my brother on his tablet and we got the Bonnie's face easter egg. He was on there for what felt like 5-10 minutes when it was probably 2 or 3 minutes. Point is, it's disturbing to look at with no noise and it feels like forever if he pops up

I think the reason scott dudnt put foxy in the 1st trailer is because he wanted to keep one of the animatronics a secret until the game came out.

I remember playing the first game with my brother on his tablet and we got the Bonnie's face easter egg. He was on there for what felt like 5-10 minutes when it was probably 2 or 3 minutes. Point is, it's disturbing to look at with no noise and it feels like forever if he pops up

Oh my goodness I have been looking for a video like this. A video that gives us the story and information that is based off the game itself and lore within the game given by hints and clues not theorys that are developed after some time with other games releasing.
