U have no idea how much this helped meee. I braided my own hair about 3 times and I could NEVERRR figure out why my ends were so frizzy...made me sooo mad buh now ik what to do so thanksss😩
What’s so funny is I was searching for a video on how to do this and this was the first video that popped up. Just so happens I have the exact same hair and hairstyle 🤗🤟🏽💁🏽♀️
Thanks for this video! You explained really good how to seal them. I did my daughter's for the first time and couldn't get them to seal but I'm gonna try your way next time and see how it works.
Its 2020 I'm in lockdown god bless you, I've had to braid my hair myself and I'm nO braider and at the moment my braids have elastic on them, thankyoy for this🥰
Omg thank you SO much for this - especially thank you SO much for clarifying to not put my hair in the water .. LOL the 4 am mousse that would be me ..wow i am finishing my box braids this morning, you have saved me thank you!!!!
I sometimes get wrinkly, curled up ends when I dip my braids in the hot water. Thanks for the idea of dipping it twice after toweling dry the first time.
Chrissy Got The Coils The ones that curled were EZ-Braid, I think it is Expression brand (not Xpression). Now I am using Emmett for my braided wig and I have already decided not to seal them. Where you had fluffy ends I have struggled on and plaited as far down as I could 😂 which has been fine because I feathered the ends.
does putting your real hair in the water damage it?I dipped my ends last night after watching a video last night that didn’t mention anything about not doing your real hair so some of my real hair did get dipped into the water.
You would do this right after you finish your braids. That's the only time you should need to do it. Make sure the water is boiling hot and be careful around the water, do not spill it on yourself. 💜
It would not be wise to dip your natural hair into boiling hot water. The hair will curl up and come out of the braids. Your braids will look puffy and frizzy on the 1st day. Your hair may also suffer heat damage.
If you rather have curly ends, check out this tutorial here!: ruclips.net/video/y0vyDDrrLHc/видео.html

Can you reseal already sealed braids after some time to tidy up the hair?

What I want to know is how to get the point on the braid after you pull it from the pack and cut it
I used the hair straight out the pack without cutting!
Saving my life my braids got dipped halfway, redoing my ends now 🙃
I did that, my daughter’s ends or still frizzy and coming loose. Please help!
My only suggestion would be to make sure to use boiling hot water!
I LOVE E`M BOX BRAIDS THEY R SO SO SO CUT...YOU BETTER WORK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Lol thank you so much for the love today ♥️🥰🥰🥰

OMGGG THANK YOU 🙏 🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Was the hair color treated? Seems like the hot water stripped some of the dye / color
Yes! This hair was an ombre color
Thank you for this I just braided my hair
Thanks
I'm glad it could be helpful 💜💜
Where did you get you electric kettle from
Walmart 😊
THANKS ALOT.
No problem!
So cool 😎 and easy thank
You're welcome!
how do wash your box braids? Love your video!
Thank you! I actually don't because I think it's a lot of work and I don't like wet braids 😂😂
I’ve dipped mine twice and they’re still frizzy and thick idk what I’m doing wrong
Same
Not all of these brands can be dipped. Even the ones that say they can! Sometimes they just curl up when you dip them.
Chrissy Got The Coils The ones that curled were EZ-Braid, I think it is Expression brand (not Xpression). Now I am using Emmett for my braided wig and I have already decided not to seal them. Yes next time let the water get very hot and move cause this will help
@@ChrissyGotTheCoils I love your work nice job
Needed this! Ty!!
I got my hair braided but they're still really stiff and ends have begun to curl. Would it be okay to plunge it in hot water a second time?
Definitely try that out & use boiling hot water
Thank you
Thanks for the info, very useful!!!
Your video is definitely what I needed! Thanks!
You're welcome! 😊😊
does putting your real hair in the water damage it?I dipped my ends last night after watching a video last night that didn’t mention anything about not doing your real hair so some of my real hair did get dipped into the water.
If the water was boiling hot, it might have affected your hair 😔
It shouldn’t be too bad actually. Flat irons get much hotter than boiling water.
This helped me so much thank you.
Of course, no problem! 😌💜
what kind of mousse did she use?
how often can you do this ? can you do this every time the get frizzy?
You would do this right after you finish your braids. That's the only time you should need to do it. Make sure the water is boiling hot and be careful around the water, do not spill it on yourself. 💜
What brand are you using for the braids ? Thx 😊
The brand is Rastafri 😌
Can you use setting lotion instead of mousse?
I haven't used setting lotion before
This works differently for pre stretched weave. How do I seal ore stretched weave
I haven't tried sealing pre-stretched braiding hair yet but I plan to soon in a new box braid video 💜💜
What kettle boils for 15 mins? Even here in Africa we got kettle that boil 5mins tops ....not even more like a min...even the stove top kettles
It's an electric kettle plugged into the wall in my bathroom. It takes 15 minutes because I fill it until it's full.
if I have the braids made only out of my hair... it's okay to put my hair in that boiling water?
No, this is only for synthetic braiding hair
@@ChrissyGotTheCoils okay thanks ^^
You're welcome 😊
❤
❤️❤️❤️!
SAFELY SEAL ENDS OF BOX BRAIDS + TWISTS 👍👍👍👍👍🔔✔❤
helpful video 💯👍🏻
Do you have Instagram?
Yes @chrissygotthecoils 💜
Great vid :-)
Thank you 🥰
So cute!
What if you have no moose x
Mousse really helps 👍🏾
Buy some.
Does anyone know if you can RE-DIP braids again once they’re dry? My ends are still puffy to me.
Make sure the water is boiling hot. Once it cools down, it's not going to work.
And I also redip after a couple weeks to make them look cleaner
You can put your natural hair in the water..
It would not be wise to dip your natural hair into boiling hot water. The hair will curl up and come out of the braids. Your braids will look puffy and frizzy on the 1st day. Your hair may also suffer heat damage.
😍🥰😍
I just wanna see the 53 haters that downvoted this 🤔
