She has great hair. The more I study the planets outside of our Solar System, the more impossible it seems that there aren't many *millions* if not billions of habitable planets within The Milky Way. The old SciFi concept that alien's would only be after our resources seems impossible as well, seems there is an abundance of everything out there.

Detailed, high precision spectroscopy will be really hard. We have a pretty good idea about our solar system, and we haven't found ourselves a second earth laying around. We are looking to see what would even make a planet habitable and if it's as unusual as our solar system makes it look.

Trappist is 40 million light years away 452b much better than all trappist planets combined is 55 million light years. Not that much of a difference.
