The only reason the NDP is voting for the budget is because they know the conservatives will win otherwise.
its like you think they would prefer a con government to a liberal one.
NDP will vote with Trudeau
There's the pension too. They won't have it if they lose their seats before October 2025.
And they haven’t yet earned their pensions ….
Would it not be grand if jag is due feb 25th pension he calls for non confidence vote march 1st
NDP is an absolute clown show propping up this incompetent government. They should be ashamed of themselves
They have no shame
Oh ya let's replace them with a government who literally doesn't have policy! An actual do nothing government!
@PengWinRUclips election is Oct 2025. They don't need any now. Anyone else.announce.their policies
But, but, but ... who'll look after their Pensions! Jiggy won't be able to afford another Rolex!
@@PengWinRUclipsthe conservatives have been clear about their plans. You just haven’t been paying attention.
The Liberals are the “do nothing” party.
The NDP are holding Canadians Hostage. They Don't Deserve to be anywhere near Ottawa, and I certainly hope that the Canadian voters make that abundantly clear in the next election. I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER, seen anything like what they have done in all my years, and I truly hope that I NEVER have to witness something like this ever again. The NDP are the Absolute WORST - And as far as I am concerned what they have done with this so called Coalition should be illegal... PERIOD.
Like what? Make big claim, you better back it up. Your anger is making you stupid.
I agree with you 100%
NEVER underestimate the stew-pidity of our fellow Canadians
How are they absolute worst? Conservatives created shared services, and they wanted to move away from housing at federal level so what 😅
The absolute worst indeed.
Horrendous!!!
The NDP will vote for the budget because they want their pensions next year. They know they're politically dead anyway. Their only hope to comeback is to get rid of Jagmeet and get a real leader who stands for the working class.
This all about the pension now it’s beyond Trudeau control,he’s lost the leadership to money, I wonder how it feels for him to loose the leadership trust
LOL, these bot accounts will say anything...
With Charlie Angus leaving, that party is d.o.a.
@@mrkang4080what makes that a bot account? Everything he said is right.
Just because your little brain doesn’t agree with it doesn’t make him a bot. Makes you a fool
And saying "corporate greed" over and over again while supporting the Liberals. Hopefully his political career is finished after the next election.
NDP will support budget because Singh is holding out for his pension.
NDP don't care about Canadians only about there pensions. If you vote NDP you might as well vote Liberal.
Pierre Poilievre qualified for pension at the age of 31
So what Con policy will fix the problem? I will wait.
@@thrillhouse7867 What's your point?

Jack Layton would be rolling in his grave if he could see the state of the NDP under jags leadership and I don’t think he’d be too happy with the back bench NDP MPs.
Agreed!!!
Jack Layton would have been one guy who could bring a country together. Justin just fragmented it more.

Provinces already have school food programs, and pharma care programs
And dental for low income as well as indigenous. It’s called Smiles Programs and includes dental surgery.
Overreach
Why would conservatives let the liberals know what their election promises will be. 10 dollar day care? A joke! The NDP have no power and get nothing but anger from Canadians for keeping the inept liberals in power. They will do worse that the liberals in the next election
If NDP supports this budget they are done
singh is more concerned about his golden pension he doesnt qualify until Feb 2025 we all know he will vote with the Liberals
They're already done, so they might as well just vote for it and collect their pensions next year.
They are done anyway.
@@egc04 Why would be care? Chances are he will win his riding if an election is called today. I have no idea what your point is. I think you need to read some books.
I wish the NDP voters would protest in the streets against this budget that the Liberals are bringing down. They are about as du... as the Trump supporters
Singh only concerned about his pension. NDP should be outcast from parliament
90% of parliament is doing this. It sucks but that's politics. It's just money.
Singh’s pension isn’t the only NDP’er that is due next year. There are a few others that are due their pensions.
And he’s doing this at the peril of his own party, as they will be in “non party status” territory next election.
The day that Trudeau is kicked out of office must be called a National holiday to celebrate
Our independence day
Thanks Vassy for asking tough questions by all parliamentary
Dental care and pharma care is a joke
Two medications does not a pharmacare program make
Jag needs to go too
Melissa is absolutely right, none of these programs are actually real.
The budget didnt balance itself....obviously. He needs to understand monetary policy and the economy doesnt grow from the heart.
he just needs to go away
Really?
The ndp will absolutely support the liberal spending budget. They do not care about Canada’s future. More government, more spending and let the middle class be destroyed.
The NDP are a stain on Canada.
BALANCED BUDGETS ONLY
When is the last time a Conservative government ran a balanced budget?
Pension pension pension pensions is all the criminal NDP care for
It sounds like they care about getting more affordable houses built and getting nutritious food into schools. Did you even listen to the interview?
If parents where not taxed to death they could feed there kids 6:57
Exactly!!
Yes, food is so expensive now
They cause a problem then want to fix it it’s a complete joke
The NDP is such a joke
As a middle class family of Canadian (at least I thought I was), I hardly benefits anything from the Pharmacare program or Childcare program during the past 10 days. In fact, all those so-called "benefits" annouced by the Libs meant very little to me and my family. Due to the family income level, there is close to nothing we can call "benefits" if you compare to the raise of living cost from the past 10 years. I am not bought by the "programs". In the end, how comfortable that Canadian feel about their living cost get to say everything, not what those politics like to say in front of a camera.
The major driver of the cost of everything is Jagmeets greed.
Truth!
You mean Rolly Singh?
If anyone should know about greed, it is Jaghmeet Singh !
Both Jagmeet and Trudeau have pit a huge dent spending so much of our hard earned taxpayers money!
The NDP are using consultants to study the budget? Smfh.
that would be because not one of them is sm::::art enough to figure it out on therevown!!
Stop deficit spending
How? You can type but ax the tax is silly ranting. Maybe cons show read the budget. Or write one already. Rhetoric doesn't get you anything. Cons province leader cut your wages housing and hiring lol not feds not the liberal. Ask missy why?.
Don Davis, the NDP has no a platform to cut spending. You have no idea how to fix the deficit.
Pensions Pensions Pensions period
You can enroll as many ppl as you want to dental care but when dentists say no it’s all moot. These NDP ppl are delusional
It will just turn into another racket. Dentistry was going that way anyway. Unnecessary x-rays, cosmetic procedures and apparently everyone and their brother now grinds their teeth while sleeping.
Agreed, and with an outside insurance company handling claims, the dentists are worried they won't get paid! One more failure for the twits!
Thank you Melissa
For not answering questions?!?
Pierre for PM the rest send them to manual labor since we have a shortage
NDP are one and the same as the Liberals and have caused this insane hardship on CANADIANS
You are CON what do you care about hardship?
Wow, what a great interviewer! This is what we need. An interviewer who doesn’t pander to anyone. She asked tough questions and challenged when they didn’t provide answers. I am so grateful for this type of interview. This country needs it. Thank you
Where are all of these interviewers when JT is "answering" questions? No one ever holds him accountable.
I’d say is is called Singh greed
Singh must go!!!
Corporate greed well when corporate decides to leave Canada then where are we?
What happened to funding healthcare, we need Doctors in Canada and healthcare workers. Get rid of the beauracracy in healthcare.
ask the premieer smith and ford and moe then
Bank of Canada is part to blame. They kept interest rates too low for too long.
They had too Trudeau was spending like a drunken sailor ,and it's now caught up with the Liberals
Those were the instructions from the bosses in DC
They absolutely did BUT they have been practicing a fair show of financial responsibility while the Liberal-NDP has only continued to add to debt and decrease economic output by way of the last 2 budgets preceding this.
B of C is not fully independent. It is heavily influenced by PM, and our PM wanted rates staying low as long as possible to. Rebate an illusion of economic growth and prosperity
It was their excessive money printing that was their part to blame
Pierre poilievre has got my vote
So you fell for his slogans and NO policies

I really don't understand how anyone can still support the NDP.
No dentists are participating
i wish governments would promote small business and reduce waste in government.
Here let's make this simple for ndp and liberal voters...
More spending / more immigration equals higher interest rates and fewer houses.
True but we need reassurance the Cons won't go back to their Jason Kenney playbook of bringing in immigrations to keep wages low... they haven't said they won't!
"Free dental care", that is not true. The dentist said that. Patients need to pay anyway.
Gagmeet is just one big laughing stock of an NDP leader .... What an excuse for someone who wants to help Canadians ..... Yet he doesn't
Hot air…lol
Please define "fair share". I am sick and tired of politicians using this stupid sentence. How about every single person in Canada pay the same percentage? Those who are on welfare and financial support who are fit and able be given a time period and cut off date for that support so they are forced to become positive contributors to the country.
new comers included
My DEFINITION OF A FAIR SHARE for risk entrepreneurial takers: All Individuals or corporations that fund loans to (or buy shares in) profit-oriented business ventures deserve a risk based return on their investment that exceeds the after-tax yield they receive on risk-free government bonds or CDIC insured Guaranteed Investment Certificates.

Lantsman was given three minutes and four opportunities to say "yes" or "no" to whether the cons would keep or reverse the capital gains tax increase and dodged it on every opportunity. What an embarrassment. At least Davies had some sort of substance in his answer, even though I have no doubt they'll support the budget to keep their pensions.
I like how the host owned both of these government clowns.
No, Jagmeet, the astronomical cost of living in Canada is not caused by corporate greed. It caused by astronomical housing bubble that sucks all disposable income, and the lack of competition being the result of Governmental policies.
Why did she keep dodging the question?
because they will axe the tax, especially the ones that effect the rich
She is wise to not reveal too much conservative platform before an election campaign. It keeps the NDP or Liberals from stealing their policies!
and give the liberals and ndp a heads up and ideas to take? kinda silly. that would be like the NFL swapping play books....

This budget can’t go through not with the ridiculous capital gains tax increase
If you earn $250k on a year through labour, you pay literally 3x as much tax as someone who earns $250k in profit from selling real estate or stocks.
They criticized the liberals for not answering questions, I am voting PC but they better do better interviews then this. Seemed very unprepared.

Jagmeet is not very bright. NDP are concerned about one thing. Pensions.

He argued that such interventions, while often well-intended, lead to unintended consequences that can disrupt and distort the market, leading to inefficiencies and economic decline."
Jag needs to put on his big boy pants and stop wearing Justins. I was NDP the last 20 yrs, thanks for pushing me to the PC.
Of course Jag will support it. If he doesnt, no pension for him
Unlike the Conservatives who raised the old age pension age to 67 when they were in power. That works out to about $28,000 out of every couples pocket between the age of 65-67. all they had to do was raise the premiums ever so slightly when they got elected but they did nothing about it for 10 years. Everybody knew the baby boomers were retiring except the cons.
I don't want this budget. He over rule the provinces and don't care about our defense
I suggest we all agree to pay for Jagmeet's pension, so he stops supporting the Liveral dictatorship.
The increase in capital gains tax will do one thing for sure. It will help that hesitant doctor to finally make the decision to leave Canada, all at a time when we want more doctors.
This guy from the MVP must be living in the clouds or something
What's the MVP?
