Basically, the story behind the EP goes as follows: "Intro" sets the mood for a dystopian technocratic future, which soon leads to the technological singularity, hence the second track "The God Machine". The sentient entity decides that mankind must be obliterated, activating all nuclear weapons to destroy the world's major cities, very much like "Skynet" in the movie "Terminator". This brings us to the third track "The Eternal Sun", referring to the big fireball created by nuclear blast. The final track "Apocalypse 2021" deals with the final probation of mankind, which must survive the dying world with deadly fallout created by the nuclear winter. Having opened Pandora's Box by creating a technological singularity and triggered the world's destruction, celestial and demonic forces reveal themselves to begin the final battle over the fate of the world, which is ultimately destroyed and recreated.
