There is 100% better pressure strings then this, but since I've done this with every character so far. I figured I would put something basic out and then do a more complex one later
Probably don't mash on slayer most of the time, his most rewarding interactions are on counter hit.
PileBunker is negative if im not mistaken... just jab after it, not before it.
Yeah but if your opponent decides to mash after PB then pressure continues since he frame traped both of you into neutral
It's -14, you get a combo
Pilebunker is -14 on block. So if a Slayer does it you can 5p, 2p, 5k, 2k, 2d, c.s, f.s, 2s, 2h, pot buster, or heat tackle . If the Slayer has meater they will probably rc if they hit a pipebunker on block. If they delay this rc slightly they can catch you in a move you will get either hit by rrc or if they delay it more and prc you'll get counter hit. Any Slayer who does a Pilebunker on block without meter has either A. missinputed punch instead of K,S, or HS, B. Is being a silly little guy and taking a crazy gamble just because, C. Is making a read that you will try to mash or grab to try and counter one of the other options out of Dandy Step. Also you can grab Bump Ahead, It' Late, and Master's hammer. Those are the K, S, and HS dandy step options respectivelly. The timing on Master's hammer is really wierd so don' fell bad if you can't do it co sistently, I know I can't. So if you can't grab Master's Hammer you can also 6p if you're fast enough or you could jump. I have also had luck with Slayer's 5p and I imagine Pot's would also work.
A little advice (that might be wrong) from a Slayer main. I love the funny little Dandy Man but I understand how infuriating he can be if you dont know what to do.
That’s a bad Slayer player if he’s using Pilebunker on your block. Mappa Hunch is much safer.

@@therealperfectnametrying to grab any Dandy followup off a h normal will get counterhit by h followup and eat a billion, so you would do well to mention that counterplay. Plus 236P frame traps and is -1 on block so you gotta consider that rps situation
And then there is Master Hammer, reverse Master Hammer, etc…

Also noting that slayer can do:
(214K~H, Dash, Bloodsucking Universe) and have it be a frame trap.

Most slayers wont go for pilebunker without meter, usually they'll do masters hammer since it beats mashing but you can react with throw before it lands.
Also whenever he has 50 meter he will ALWAYS do pilebunker and frc into his left/right, high/low mix, so dont mash then or you'll die

That's if your opponent pulls out pilebunker/pilebunker mixup, if they actually do a normal high/low, than it's much safer and I don't think you will be in range and time for buster
What about Masters Hammer or P Mappa lol?
I think masters can be heavenlied or heat knuckle
P mappa is bs but most of the time you can rely on backdashing after it since most slayers will do 2h to fish for counterhits
He has a follow-up that jumps and is +on block. Maybe don't think of grabbing first

You can throw masters hammer, it's not easy but it's the key to winning against slayer, and if they get greedy and try to mix you with the high/low followups those can be stuffed on reaction
Be very careful about trying to throw, he can do Master's Hammer to beat throw and that counterhit will KILL you (70% damage without meter if he knows what he's doing)

@@nutsplice5248 You can throw it when he lands, it's a 6F window. On startup, it's a tiny window (only 2F) unless he does Dandy close enough to be throwable. Source: I can read the moveset scripting language lol
To clarify, the timing to throw Hammer on landing is very different from the other followups. You WILL get CH for trying to throw the other followups. The best way to respond to it is to block high or low for 15F (react to cross ups) and then jump since Hammer's hitbox barely leaves the floor. That beats every option, provided you guess right on the high/low if he chooses that.
Can you do a guide on Zato-1? I just started the game, and all the combo recipes are outdated to pre nerf.

i only know that c.s f.s are plus but his pressure relies a lot on frametraps or mix ups iirc...
