Please look up a video on these emulators and learn how to set them up. I probably won't make a video on them because I'm still learning about them and there's already plenty of good videos demonstrating how to use them.

Hi, I'm not a tech-savvy person but I'm having streaming and recording problems with DgVoodoo2 and really need assistance. Please read all the following to understand my needs. I've managed to make Sims 1 playable in widescreen on my laptop thanks to the many helpful online walkthroughs available. Playing the game normally on the laptop with the DgVoodoo2 wrapper is no problem. However, I'm now having some graphical issues occurring while attempting to stream or record the game via Streamlabs. I could have sworn an older version of DgVoodoo2 (or even a previous version of Streamlabs) allowed the Sims 1 game to work fine while streaming. There 3 different wrapper options for this Sims 1 widescreen patch. The resolution I'm most comfortable with is 800x600 option with DgVoodoo2 as the wrapper. When I select this wrapper and start recording or streaming, I notice the hue of the game is darker, plus multicoloured squares start randomly appearing on screen, making viewing the stream or recording impossible. Also, randomly my mouse cursor will not show up on my Sims 1 game while recording or streaming. What is the issue? I've tried the DDrawCompat and the None wrapper options and all the graphical issues are fine, though the resolution options available do not show the game in the fullscreen and zoomed resolution like the DgVoodoo2 option I want. Can someone help me? I can give links, visual pictures or video to help show the problem I'm facing. Thanks for reading!
But recording still only records at the resolution in- game and not dgvoodoo? I feel like I'm getting 4k on Dragon Age Origins but recording says 1080p coz I've set in game reso at 1080p

You should try using 86Box or PCem. It's a virtual machine that emulates old hardware that you can pick and choose. Ranging from the Intel 8088 all the way to Pentium 2. It also has options for GPUs, sound cards and more.

Hi! I discovered this program recently because I was trying to understand why my game "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder" is not opening. A dll error appeared, but I only found out that it was a DX8 thing recently. This program solved it, but I have two rather silly doubts: *1. Have you ever had any system problems because of this program (is it really 100% reliable)?* *2. When running the program and applying the changes, are these changes applied only in the selected folder or does the program also modify something in the video driver or directx files of Windows itself?* I'm a little paranoid about my PC's security. Because of that I'm wanting to kill these doubts since I don't understand 100% how this program works. If you know anything about it, it will help me a lot! Only put the required files for each program you're planning to use after changing the settings. Don't place any files in your main driver folder. Remember this is a graphics api emulator.

Question I picked up a game from the site you mentioned, first time I set it all up and ran it the game launched fine, once in game my camera stuck on rotate and once I exited the game it will no longer show up when launched haven't a clue what is going on, I don't get any security notifications or anything.

I was using DGVoodoo to get rid of coil wine on Stalker Call of pipkrat, it worked well the first time I put it into the files but after I shut it off and returned to my computer the coil line was back any idea on what happened? ( I know locking FPS on your graphics card is an option to get rid of coil wine but I've always had issues with getting my graphics card to allow me to change its settings So that's not really an option for me)

To exit to Menu, do the combo Left on Right Stick + jump+punch+key on the Xbox controller at the same time. Once on the menu, Alt + F4 to exit the game.

Such a great tool! I got the best out of VSK5 by choosing Intel UHD Graphics (instead of Nvidia 4000 ADA !) and then selecting GeForce FX 5700 ultra instead of dgVoodoo Virtual 3D. Took me a while, maybe it helps some others...
Im trying to get Will Rock, a 2003 game to use my dedicated Nvidia mx 260. It seems this app made it use the gpu as it runs smoothly, but the textures got mixed up really hard. Menu icons is just black lines on the screen and in the game every texture seems random ( sky box is just a wall text, terrain is white, etc) Any idea on a fix?
The software is more so to emulate the hardware of GPUs using newer GPUs. I can't test it since I don't have that card. You'll need to experiment with dgVoodoo.

I don't use windows 11 and the experience I had with setting up Win11 when my brother got his new laptop wasn't a good experience. You'll need experiment with the resolution options in dgvoodoo.

Anyone know how to make a game looking for directx 7 work in windows 11? I tried what was recommended in the video and it had no effect. Edit: I have directx 12 so I have no idea why a game that needs Directx 7 or greater isn't working.
Your instructions are wildly inconsistent and confusing to follow. When I change settings in the voodoo interface and apply it, it does not even create those text files.

So i have multiple old game such as feeding frenzy 2 and 1, i did it on 2 it work but how to do it both, do i also need to copy the vgdodo exe to 1.

Modern windows doesn't like that game even with dgVoodoo. Check to see if there's a fan patch or something.

Yeah, but if you need to configure settings you'll need to use the exe and copy the configuration file that gets changed.

Battlefield 2 is weird. The best thing I can think of is getting it from EA Origin. I did get the disc version to work but it messed up after awhile.

Im trying to get Will Rock, a 2003 game to use my dedicated Nvidia mx 260. It seems this app made it use the gpu as it runs smoothly, but the textures got mixed up really hard. Menu icons is just black lines on the screen and in the game every texture seems random ( sky box is just a wall text, terrain is white, etc) Any idea on a fix?
The software is more so to emulate the hardware of GPUs using newer GPUs. I can't test it since I don't have that card. You'll need to experiment with dgVoodoo.

OS: Windows XP and up.
CPU: Pentium 4 @1.4 GHz.
RAM: 512MB or more.
GPU: Videocard with 64MB of RAM or better.
HDD: 2GB.
Ok system does not support this os. Have you tried other compatibility modes like Windows 7 or Windows XP SP2?

am trying to run juiced 2005 ( the game works fine but it doenst work on 1080 ) also when i run it in a lower resolution it runs on my second monitor not my main idk why also the task bar doesnt desapear and if i click my main monitor the game crashes 🤦🏻♂(PS: i am on win 11 hope its not a problem😅)

I don't use windows 11 and the experience I had with setting up Win11 when my brother got his new laptop wasn't a good experience. You'll need experiment with the resolution options in dgvoodoo.

If I saw it right, your game is starting barely playable, but it is starting.

@@LohNiki oh yeah. Windows 10 disabled that due to security risks. So yes a no CD crack is pretty much mandatory.

Anyone know how to make a game looking for directx 7 work in windows 11? I tried what was recommended in the video and it had no effect.
Edit: I have directx 12 so I have no idea why a game that needs Directx 7 or greater isn't working.
