I'd love to see a ranger, smg, attack speed build. I love the idea of chipping the enemies to death with rapid damage. I'd just love to see how you'd build around the challenge.
This game plays so well to your strengths as a content creator - rapid play mechanic prototyping and analysis (basically what you do every time you review another game), action that the viewers can easily follow, and separation of tactics and action to allow for color commentary. I would watch all of these in a series even though I have no plans to play the game. Also, the item pickup sounds like water drops are not annoying to hear repeatedly. Nice job, DEV! For a build idea, maybe try to make the best Cactus Club build you can. Seems like if Crit damage is negative, the Crits are just normal hits. See 30:34 and on for many examples and check the damage values. It would be really nice if a tooltip explained that on the stats page. Though it is listed on the individual weapon stats.
who hasn't heard the legendary words "fly like a butterfly, sting like a hedghog"? ranger is by far my favourite, as soon as you get a red bandana you got the set up, i didn't win but i also suck at these bullet heavens
I'd love to see a mutant build that focuses on luck. The extra item pick ups to get even more stats and offset the expensive shops could be pretty nutty.
Not super familiar with all the diffrent tatoe powers but a lucky dodge build with explosives seems exciting just blowing up the world with no repercussions and being handsomely rewarded for it sounds tight
My idea for a build would be to equip the cacti club and only go for the ranged damage instead of melee~ Maybe go for the one armed character, since it won't be too reliable to find only one specific weapon, but your choice
Build for super fun times. Loud for character, crank up LUCK and buy every Alien tongue you see. With increased enemies from loud, you get rich quick and it's super satisfying slurping up all the exp drops.

I’ve had good luck doing stick builds with the mutant. You can get a ton of stat buffs with the XP multiplier.. and the additional item price doesn’t really matter since sticks are cheap. You can get the sticks to do several hundred damage per hit, and big number funny.
Don't know if anyone else has mentioned it yet but, I'd like to see an elemental build. Taser, lightning shiv, flamethrower, torch, wand and whatever else you want for the last slot. Obviously focus on elemental damage as the main stat, I'm not really sure what else. Choose whatever character you think would work best for it.
Absolute legend! I lost my sides on the "Thinker Bell got mad, Thinker Bell got enough..." The late game looks pretty hard tbh, it's a great game to watch the building setup/output. The palm looks like a trap or very specific weapon to have with more "carry" items, that's kinda sad i really like the idea of six armed potato :v
Do a 1-Armed run, where you start with an SMG and go for every possible attack speed buff, and combine it with getting some burn on contact upgrades. And only ever switch out your weapon for a Mini-Gun, don't count on getting one tho, I think that's the only weapon faster than an SMG. The classic bullet hose experience
The 6 palm path with the insane. Take on hoards of enemies with palm strikes sounds fun. Or the lucky duck path. Take all the luck and baby with a beard.
Sniper build! Make one shot do as much work as possible. Something to turn single target into AOE! 1 hand lad(?) Piercing rocket launcher, probably. Snake (fire spread) maybe?
Thunder god build, it can be half tazer half lightning dagger, tons of elemental damage and other stuff like piercing and attack speed, it would be cool to see the lightning spreading
Luck-Based One-Armed SMG Build is hilarious, especially if you get a completely stupid power-up like Ricochet or the Cyber-Ball. Taking all the "+x% more enemies" makes it even more fun to mow everything down :D Crazy with 6 Lightning Shivs and focusing on elemental is also challenging but very rewarding. Don't take DMG+ Upgrades, because you want to keep stabbing things. What you attack is just a convenient "lightning distributor". Get some speed-ups and pray you get enough shivs to upgrade them because the lightning bounces increase with level. It's hilarious once you stab a big guy a few times and it cleans the whole map. If you get the "+25% chance to set things on fire" upgrade, it gets even more stupid, because the lightning bounces count as attacks and can set stuff on fire which just burns enemies to a crisp due to the elemental damage focus. If they even survive the bouncing lightning.
I think a ton of life steal and attack speed would be fun with a fast firing gun. Maybe use the masochist since you’d be constantly taking damage and healing
I'd really like you to try wizard. He makes elemental damage playable and the burn effect can get crazy! Lightning shiv and wand are really good and you should choose elemental damage every time you have the chance.
do an unarmed class run(ngl i dont know his name, he just deals more damage with unarmed weapons), with a ton of fists focusing on attack speed to basically become the flash but with attack speed. main goal is to be able to run into a giant horde of enemies and not taking damage. (also with a ton of scared sausages for that little touch of arson)
Love the series. Having played a lot of Vampire Survivors I need a bit of a change and some more depth and this really looks like it's fitting the bill.
"Shankanator prime" crazy with range and attack speed mainly using daggers survivability of your choice. Backstory: He was once just a potato in a prison pantry, but after watching all his brothers and sisters peeled and turned into stew he could no longer hold in his rage. He decided it was time to pick up the knife used to slaughter his brethren and release his rage. After picking up the blade he went on a rampage shankifying the entire population of the prison that once held him captive, and paved a path of blood and starch across the country freeing his brother and sisters and murdering their oppressors all along the way.
There's something you could try, before it's getting a nerf. Loud with only blades for the crit chance, and the item that gives you gold on crit kill. It's hella OP, with one or two of those items, you can get like 1000+ materials easily in the latter rounds, just by killing stuff.
I liked this game, played like 3h of the demo, but it feels a little bit too hard, tried a bunch of different build but never felt strong or got over wave 10.
A build that I liked was all SMGs as the Crazy class. The attack speed boost when they're already that fast is wild, but it's not what I would call good
i dont think the palm upgrades damage it upgrades the harvest on it. i would like to see a one armed with the flame thrower but that weapon seems rare so probably concentrate on luck to go with it
Damn really hope you can make a working brawler build. I think there's a flaming fist which is pretty rare to get but exists. I believe that and fire spread is the way. Also early hands for harvesting but later switch with fists cause they have more dmg.
Don't know if it's possible but how about Jack of all trades, master of none. Try to get all your stats a little in the green and have as much weapon variety in your kit as possible. If it doesn't work at least it could be interesting to see.
Got to wave 11 today with an unarmed build (my highest one yet). Love the demo but it does need more explanation on certain stats and items as its unclear a fair bit

He was using the brawler with -50% critdmg, so in all likelihood crit damage usually is greater

Single weapon rocket launcher with the guy that has 200% weapon speed is my jam. If you can get it, but starting with the shotty.

I had a fun run that could be cool, the speedy trait and max attack speed, using SMGs. All gas no breaks
Wizard with the new elemental weapons is actually really fun. Using tazers and shivs alone you can go pretty far

go for the knife guy the range on the knifes is awesome and in the late game you almost always crit (i even got as high as 100% crit chance)
I want to see if it's possible to make a 100% dodge build or if there is a cap. Best I can think to do this with is mutant. But we'll see

Negative crit damage seemed to make your crits deal the exact same damage as non crits

Make a Mage Taser build, after the update I think that finally turned into a really cool and powerful build.

I feel like i missed the run where you used flamethrower. And/or it didn't happen. So yes my suggestion is all the flamethrowers

Try an attack speed life steal build with loud. It works especially well with SMG, double barrel shotgun and bandana to maximise hits.
