True mate, Mick is criminally underrated, just like a Topper Headon. If band The Clash hadn't have a drummer of Topper's class, I believe that nobody wouldn't be heard of them, with Mick or without Mick. They would be still unsignificant punk rock band forever, but sinergy four of them, make The Clash only band from punk-rock scene that matters..

The Clash were never the "Only Band That Matters," because of course not. That was simply some *very* good Pop Music promotion. But so far as the Pop Music landscape went in those days . . . they were most definitely ONE of the only bands that mattered. For me, It just doesn't get much better than this. Brilliantly catchy Pop songs performed as just absolutely pure Rock and Roll. "Punk Rock" is a pathetic, shallow word, and yet it's the only one ringing for me right now. Because the *SONG* they're playing is totally my favorite one by them . . . but even that brilliant *SONG* they're playing is shadowed by the *_WAY_*_ they're playing it._ Pure Rock and Roll . . . like I said already. When you find yourself repeating yourself repeating yourself . . . THAT'S when you know you're High As The Sun with your music. The euphoria's unmistakable. •b18
