Body2Body 2.0 with Stephan Choiniere & Tsvetelina Tabakova

When I returned to Cirque du Soleil - Zumanity in late 2017 for on-call backup to the marquee act that I previously filled at the inception of the show, it was with a different partner, Tsvetelina Tabakova, and different choreography from the first incarnation of Body2Body.

Consequently, I was granted the fortunate distinction of having created and performed two featured acts for Cirque du Soleil. Besides being the only former artist to return to the show (12 years later no less), that privilege is a trophy I’ll cherish for a lifetime.

This video is a tech-rehearsal run for a special event with one of Cirque du Soleil’s touring partners, Realtor(dot)com. It lacks the energy and fluidity we typically have for an audience-performance, but I’m happy to have this as one of the best records of this act before the show Zumanity was retired.

I finally got the Covid yesterday and this has cheered me up considerably. So glad I finally get to see 2.0. You've got some incredible moves, as always, and I love how the very end is a bit of an echo of the ending of the original act. That made me smile.
