Fly with me on Turkish Airlines’ Airbus A350-900 in Economy Class from Istanbul to Tashkent. In this detailed review, I’ll take you through the Economy Class experience on this modern aircraft, showcasing the comfort, amenities, and overall journey.
Due to European sanctions against Russia Airbus had to cancel orders from the Russian flag carrier Aeroflot. Among them some Airbus A350-900 which were already built and ready for delivery. These planes have then been taken by Turkish Airlines who operates them under the colors or Aeroflot and with the Aeroflot cabin layout. A very unusual flight on an unusual aircraft, mute witness of our current history.

Great review! I love oddities such as the Aeroflot a350 flying for Turkish. Really surprised they didnt at the very least just set the IFE to moving map - or allow the screens to be turned off; you'd want sunglasses on a long flight for that screen haha!
TK should have done something to the IFE or disconnected it before introducing the aircraft for service. Is TK so short of aircrafts that they had to operate this aircraft immediately after receiving it? I would be terribly upset if I had a glaring IFE screen in face all flight!
It’s because of the busy season the go thru right now but they will change everything to their own product after the busy season which is like in October if I’m not wrong!
Demand is high for Turkish Airlines, best company , best airport high quality good price. Also Turkish airlines low company Anadolu jet airlines company color is blue and white :)

I look forward traveling on Turkish airlines because I have never flown with them I only heard about them.
One of my greatest fears: long range flight (more than 5h) and no screens working. I'm planning a 12h flight with Turkish and I would ask a refund If this happends! 😡🤬

Customers have to fix their urgent problem with "feedback" / email procedure that TA would "possibly" reply within 48hrs!!!! Horrible!!!
I had the worst experience of Istanbul-Montreal direct flight ticket with Turkish Airline which was cancelled three times at their convenience. But, the worst has yet to come!!! When I called them to get a new date for ticket. I needed to write "feedback". Then, "feedback" wrote me back that I had 5 days to fly. I wrote another "feedback" with a date of preference. When "feedback" replied, it was to late to take that flight. While days were finishing, stupid feedback procedure was not working at all. I realized that i was dealing with scambags. I wrote another feedback with the last date of preference which was indirect flight through Toronto and i headed for airport but now they refused to pay for Toronto-Montreal since it is with AirCanada. Turkish Airline acts careless to ruin your most expensive flight just to save (actually to steal!!!) $100.
When you call Montreal office, nobody answer!!!
You will never be able to escalate your complaint!!!
You are not even able reach responsible person for the mess!!!
Last 3 of my 4 flights ( Istanbul-Madrid, Chicago-Istanbul, Istanbul-Montréal) ended up with problems that costed me almost $4000. That is enough. Enough is more than enough. If anything goes wrong with your flight, Turkish Airline makes sure customer pays for all. Very cheap behaviour.
Do yourself a favor, just STAY AWAY from Turkish Airline. I suggest that you don't waste your time with contacting TA.
Please bring your complain to Aviation Authority in your country, for example , FAA is US, Transport Canada Civil Aviation in Canada,The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in EU countries, Civil Aviation Authority in UK. PLEASE do it in person to find out only way to get your rights/compensation !!!
Previously I have a lot heard indian english , now I got to know turkish one from that pilot..

That is an incrdible lounge, typically it's a room but here it is an entire wing! A restaurant even, wow! It's enough to make you cozy with a full belly before boarding. 😁 great flight review and appreciate the natural sounds.

Why they didn't change the colors ,seats and update the touch screen

They made for aeroflot but they cant be delivered because russia is sanctioned from europe 5 airbus or more of aeroflot orders going to turkish

OH GOSH!!! NO IFE!!!! UFFFFFFF. Can't imagine flying without an IFE onboard. Did the airline notify you that there won't be any IFE available on this flight?
I did a 9 hour flight with no IFE and I will never do it again....Was awful!

Because this Airbus a350 was supposed to be for Aeroflot as you can see the plane has Aeroflot seats and the engines have the colour of Aeroflot but since the war with Ukraine Airbus gave the a359 to Turkish airlines instead of Aeroflot

Because of the war russia can’t receive airplanes from airbus . So Turkish airlines bought it while this airplane was producing . And it’s not easy to change to name and other things into name of turkish airlines. Including IFE system . Or IFE system is not working in this flight . Yeah that’s bad but temporary problem . It happens . We are not flying for watch IFE . We are flying for arrive to destination.

I traveled from van to turkey and returned by turkish airline in that plane A350-900 the washrooms were so dammed filthy the sinks were all clogged the air hostess were always grumpy told them about the washroom they just shrugged it off and didn't care omg never again am I going to travel in this airline again I have traveled in so many airlines but this one was the worst even the food was gross and yet they claim star alliance not worth even one star
