This very popular Hidden Valley Loop hike quickly transports hikers from the busy road into a spectacular small valley, entirely surrounded by the classic boulders of Joshua Tree.
The loop is well travelled and mostly flat, so everyone can enjoy the beautiful scenery.
More Hidden Valley fun is found off the trail. When the temptation to climb gets too great, you can start scrambling up the rocks.
The valley has some steep sections for climbers, but most of the walls are perfect for bouldering. You can scramble up rocks and gain nice overviews.
