Love that color teal. Putting alcohol in the middle was a great idea! And don't worry about the sticks. You have already explained how the used ones don't introduce bubbles like the new ones do. It's best to reuse what you can rather than just throwing them away. They aren't expensive, but every little bit of money you can save is a good thing. And it doesn't hurt the piece you're working on at all. Some people just like to complain. Just keep doing you. That's why we keep coming back !💚🐇
I’m not sure how long you’re planning on releasing one video everyday but I’m totally here for it! The moment the kids go to bed and I finally have my me time your videos are the first thing I search for! 🙌🏻
I just want to say- in reference to your “dirty stick” someone complained about- I absolutely LOVE that you take such great care of your supplies and studio and the fact that you reduce SO much waste with your habits LIKE reusing sticks is one of the many reasons I just adore you and your channel. ❤
Yay, you're doing more dragon scales! It's been a long, long time! LOVE that Peacock color! ❤ Someone complained ... _about your used_ *_stick?!?_* WOW. They...have problems. FANTASTIC idea to put 2 drops of alcohol in the center, Julie! 👍💕💯🤗 These are *GORGEOUS!!!* ❤💕❤
I really love your work! I just got into making resin hair accessories in the last year and these tutorials have really helped me come up with some cool hair clips! Thanks so much for your time! Keep up the good work!
The centre drops of alcohol is a great idea! The colours are just so beautiful and bright .Your stick is a great way of teaching us about recycling the equipment you use-you don’t just use (the stick ) and items once and throw it away! A wonderful coaster using a different technique using your great moulds !😃🍀
Oh! How cool!?!! I just LOVE it when you do these dragon scales! These coasters are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The gold trim is SO pretty and the little gold rocks look fantastic! Wonderful job! Thx Julie!! Ty for all that you do for us and for your phenomenal personality! You're such a joy to listen to and to watch create magic with resin! xo P.s. Purple dragon scales would look amazing as well I think!! :)
I just totally love your excitement! Every time I hear you and I see you get so excited it’s amazing and it’s wonderful. The coasters are beautiful you’re so talented and you’re so creative. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing and being who you are!😊
Hey Julie! That alcohol drop effect turned out to be a genius decision, it could be used in many different ways. Love the turquois and gold combination, the design looks beautiful. Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!!
Totally love the alcohol effect in the center! The pattern already has such depth, then the center is amazing! Seems completely different from previous dragon scales (which I also love!) and so beautiful!! Thank you so much, Julie! Take care and stay safe 💖💖 Edit: I love the used stir sticks! They look like experience, caring, and love to me!
GORGEOUS colours and absolutely love that alcohol drop idea to reveal your gold flakes in the middle. Whole thing is just so, SO pretty! Love these a lot
I already thought they looked like dragons eyes. But actually black crushed glass would be really cool & look more like an actual eye. I guess I was thinking a fantasy dragon could have gold pupils. Or just didn't think about it.
It’s more environmentally responsible to re-use otherwise ‘disposable’ items (like stirring tools). Also there are fewer bubbles generated from a re-used stick. Like most is us, I watch your videos to see your awesome talents not to criticise your methods - you are amazing.
They came out so pretty! The resin is funny with the way it moves while it’s curing. I love watching your videos. Your giggles and excitement for your designs for each of your projects get me excited to try my own. You’re my inspiration.
I’m so glad you did these again! I had forgotten about them & now I want to go out right now and make them! I love how the alcohol drops made the little rock’s show through! Beautiful! ❤️
After she was done with the project, (before it cured), she added 2 alcohol drops on top of each area where she had placed the gold crushed pieces. She did this off-camera. This parted the resin so that you can see the centers.
“Please change your stick, it looks horrible” 😂😂😂 that just cracked me up. You always give me a good laugh. Plus I’ve learned a lot from your videos, so thank you 🙏🏾❤
These are so beautiful! I love the depth the design took on and color combination you chose..Very pretty. I can see a version of these used as individually shaped flower petals, bowls, decorative drawer pulls. The possibilities are endless. I love watching your excitement. Thank you for sharing your talent.
I really like how the darker color around the gold in the center makes an illusion that the gold is deeper in the coaster than the rest of the colors, almost like it's in a pocket if that makes sense.
Oh, I love the effect. Love the colors as well. I'm going to have to try this now. I'm in the process of making blooming flower coasters at the moment. Looks great Julie.
Oh how Beautiful 😍 and Don't even listen to that change the stick person, obviously they have never worked with resin cause trying2 reuse supplies is a necessity-- it adds up quick the cost of these products and how much we have to be environmentally friendly and some people need to be told if you have nothing nice to say, then Don't say anything at all lol Luv yah N Appreciate your videos and free Teaching!!! Some have No idea how much work it takes to produce, edit, and provide educational tutorials n Beautiful art on top of all of that, so disregard that Negativity nonsense and keep being your Fabulous Self! Ive always adored your sweet positive energy and you have made me laugh a ton! And of course your FREE education 😊
I couldn't stand how long I'd have to wait to demold. So I bought a square food dehydrator with removable metal shelving on the inside. I think 5 fairy big trays maybe 6. I can use them all for layers of small molds & pull them out to fit bigger molds. The temperature & the amount of time it runs is both variable. It's a true game changer & all for well under a hundred. I think it works just as good as any resin curing machine & the trays are bigger & most importantly sturdier.

And reusing creates less landfill.

Absolutely gorgeous Julie ❤
Good idea opening up the middle with the alcohol to expose the gold flakes! These are pretty
These are officially on my list of favourite resin coasters of all time.
I believe I like these really neat coasters best without the gold edges!❤
Alcohol always helps bring out the joy in us. Came out great. First impressive thing I've seen all day. Keep it up.
Wow, how beautiful are those. I like they why you can look into the center and see inside. Beautiful work. ❤❤
GORGEOUS colours and absolutely love that alcohol drop idea to reveal your gold flakes in the middle. Whole thing is just so, SO pretty! Love these a lot
Wow! Another result resulting from scientific power! Impressive. Bravo!
Love how the alcohol made the gold viable in it's own little bubble. Neat effect!
That's really pretty. The gold edge really makes the gold in it POP!
Oooh...next time put black bits in where u put the gold (in the very center)! They'd look like eyes with a pupil! So cool!❤
That’s a good idea!!
I already thought they looked like dragons eyes. But actually black crushed glass would be really cool & look more like an actual eye. I guess I was thinking a fantasy dragon could have gold pupils. Or just didn't think about it.
I love your artwork darl. Don’t listen to what people say. As long as you’re happy doing that way

Just leaving the teal edge was best.
I totally agree. I think using the gold on everything takes away from the beauty.
Love them ..the center looks fantastic!
Amazing! I always learn something! Cool idea putting alcohol in the middle!
It’s more environmentally responsible to re-use otherwise ‘disposable’ items (like stirring tools). Also there are fewer bubbles generated from a re-used stick. Like most is us, I watch your videos to see your awesome talents not to criticise your methods - you are amazing.

Can you explain where she add alchool and to what color?
She used mica powder and for the white alumilite dye...
Thank you
After she was done with the project, (before it cured), she added 2 alcohol drops on top of each area where she had placed the gold crushed pieces. She did this off-camera. This parted the resin so that you can see the centers.

Keep reusing and recycling as much as possible. She's probably the type that doesn't clean and sort her rubbish into general waste, recycling etc...
Another masterpiece absolutely beautiful. I just got in now and I’ve been same thing nice work.🤙
Very cool effect
❤
Beautiful!
Fabulous! I've managed to get a crackle effect but nothing as dramatic and with such chunky crackles as that. Amazing work Julie
Love these love the effect too ❤
