Nice video. Most depth finders come with a fuse too that connects to the battery

THANK YOU. I just got a Garmin Striker 4 with your battery and needed how to connect the two. I'm still a bit unclear on the many wires on the Striker 4 but I'll keep surfing RUclips.

Actually, I think I would check the connection before shrinking the Heat Shrink tubing. That way, you don't have as much 'work' to go through to resolve any issues.

No fuse between the battery and the device? Do you need one?

Do you just leave a ground wire exposed inside the black shrink tubing?

I twist the ground and negative together

Very cool I have been looking for something like this. Can anyone tell me if this uses a standard 2-Pin SAE Connector?

it got hot on the initial 1st charge( as described ABOVE ), since then it hasn't got hot again... seems to work and charge fine
haven't had a chance to try it out ( use it ) for a full day on the water - looking forward to how long it lasts on a full charge running my Dragonfly 7 Pro

+YAK MAN The 4.4Ah battery will run the lights between 2.5 and 6 hours depending on what unit it's hooked up to. The 2000 will have the shortest run time and the Spectrum will have the longest.

4.4 Ah is much too small for larger Color Fishfinder s Chartplotters that have 1.5 AH max draw...

  • @NicholasCordero

I think that battery is not strong enough to run a fish finder for 8 hrs

Worst battery I've ever bought! Chargers is broken after 4 uses and battery doesn't last nearly as long as a Dakota lithium
