Spice was honestly like the adopted daughter of all the queens after Sugar got eliminated It was so sweet. I honestly wish she could've gone farther.
I love how everyone thought they were going to be the annoying ones of the season that no one liked, and then all of a sudden all of the girls LOVED them 😂 that’s some queen shit.
I used to watched them on RUclips years ago, and they seem humble and super down to earth I’m surprised people thought they were gonna be annoying but I love them 😭
Usually people hate when they put on the whole character to be extra for the cameras but this is genuinely how they are! Once the queens figured that out they learnt to accept it and ended up adoring them.

Prime example of a massive producer fumble. These 2 had limitless potential to make this season great. The first twin dynamic on the show & how that relationship could have played out between the 2 of them and the other queens, their killer looks, their over the top personas. Producers had gold in their hands and chucked it out the window
Look I know we detest production in this house but let's be real. There was no way to save both of them. They were horrid in snatch game and if they wanted them to lip sync against eachother they HAD to do it that episode, because the only other person in the bottom was aura and she would've obliterated them in a lip sync. It's similar to what happened to Irene. She was such good tv but there was no way production could've saved her, she was the worst in the episode and amethyst absolutely won the lip sync.

Realistically speaking- a lot of people hated this snatch game for being lack luster due to how so many queens were edited out to fit the tops and bottoms in the narrative. If they played out Sugar and Spice to be in the pre snatch game early game to add potential storylines then they would have literal gold of tv.

Spice did better than a lot of queens in the design challenge. Notably Lossy Laduca was brought up as someone that should have been in that bottom 2. 3. There pointing out that Tetris show choose the twin to make it further in the season. 4. It’s not an insult to call rigging out. Even most of the queens have called out knowing they were going to be Eliminated because of ques the production was giving them this season 5. It’s not that deep no even the points your try to make don’t make them well because your leaving our a lot of history and I mean a lot of history
They left out the funniest moment at the end after Spice is eliminated and she says “I can’t wait to get home and see everyone and be reunited with Spice! And by Spice I mean Sugar, cause haha I’m Spice…” or something like that.
They were the stars of the season for me! Theyres so hilarious and i love how they keep it lighthearted. They dont take drag too seriously to the point of causing drama, just seriously enough to fucking slay. Also representing the doll collecting community
i do think the twins got in too early. they have so much room for improvement and i think if they waited a few years they would of killed EVERYONE. but it was really nice to see how close and supportive of each other they are and how it doesn’t matter how but they just rather have a fun time than bite each other
One thing to add: Maybe they got in early, but for queens who basically started during the pandemic and on TikTok, to have a such an endearing vibe. I mean, it took us an episode or two but we love the twins. There are queens who have been trying for years to get in our graces. It's almost the same as Krystal Versace.
I also think the idea of TWIN drag queens with solid individual concepts and a solid combined concept, who attract a young audience, who also already had a good following on TikTok prior to the show, was too irresistible for the show to pass up.

Honestly, seeing how Sugar & Spice were treated in this season (& I knew of them & watched their content before I saw them on drag race) really opened my eyes to how toxic Drag Race can be. Like I love RuPaul for what he’s done for the drag community & helped bring fame to all of the drag queens that made it onto the show but he’s not as wholesome as I had thought. Sugar & Spice were treated so horribly in the beginning & the judges were brutal to them the whole time. They treated them like they were annoying little sisters & they were just so excited to be there. When they lip synced against each other, the judges were hella critical of them choreographing their lip sync & lowkey were bullying them. Then when Spice got saved, I could see a look of disappointment in some of the judges’ faces. You could tell that the other queens tried their best to protect Spice but man those judges weren’t having it… It makes me sad coming to this realization but look at all the queens who didn’t & won’t ever make it to All Stars because RuPaul doesn’t like them or they somehow “broke the rules” (Willam, Pearl, Max, Delta, & the list goes on unfortunately)
