Actually Michelle has been on record saying that after the past four seasons (S4 and S5 to a lesser extent, S3 and S6 to a great extent), production wanted to crown a queen who the younger generation could relate to more since the show was heading more towards a mainstream direction, namely a queen who was younger in age. Keep in mind each queen's storyline during S7 and it becomes clear that production wanted a young queen to win given that the older queens were constantly being presented in negative ways, e.g. Tempest being salty about being called old, Jasmine giving up, Kasha being confrontational during critiques, Kennedy and Ginger criticizing younger queens. Meanwhile, Pearl got away with metaphorically slapping Ru in the face and still made top 3 over Kennedy who had a better track record AND Violet won the season tied with Max as the youngest queen on the cast, and while I'm not saying that's why she won, her age was a determining factor.

It was an amazing cast. They don’t make them like that anymore. Only queen in recent seasons I can say is that level is maybe Gottmik, who’s Violet’s drag daughter.

I rewatched s7 a few weeks ago and the bitter old lady brigade really grind my gears. It's baffling how so much people thinks it's okay to root for them.
I love how she wasn’t afraid to trash talk the judges. That “boy” comment from Michelle REALLY hurt Violet especially since she revealed she was struggling a lot with her gender during this time. She was confident in herself and wasn’t afraid to talk some shit😏 she’s one of my favorite drag queens and I’m happy that she won
Violet is my favorite winnner because she knows she’s fierce, yet at the same time does not sabotage or feel the need to demean others to get ahead. She’s confident and people can misinterpret that.
I don’t know if it’s the edits or how it actually happens but she seems to get mad at any of the judges who disagree with her too. Girl! Get over it! Everybody likes what they like and it it’s not personal…wait for it…”it’s drag”!
Violet always keeps it real and that’s what I love about her. Some people just can’t handle it when someone doesn’t play the humility game AND is confident enough to not fake being “nice”. I’d rather a queen who tells it as it is to my face rather than someone who’s nice to my face but stabs me from behind.
See she had perfect confidence in herself but she had the talent to back it up. That level of unflappability and pure self belief would be delusion in someone less talent, but she actually deserves to feel that way. Pure manifestation!!!!
What I love about Violet is that the season was stacked against her so hard. They obviously wanted to give a young, fashion queen the crown… and then made so many of the challenges acting challenges?? They could’ve pulled a season 3 with multiple design challenges but instead half the season was acting lol. And yet despite having acting powerhouses like Ginger and Max on the season Violet STILL managed to pull through and get (deservedly) crowned! I was SO happy watching from home. She never had to lip sync and still felt like the underdog in a way? I love her so much.
the thing i loved most is how kennedy and ginger said violet had zero experience therefore she didn't deserve the win. how funny, she literally kicked their asses, i bet both kennedy and ginger felt incredibly humiliated.

@@xtxpxhx Roxxy's and Coco's behavior were not borderline bullying. They were bullying Jinx
Now watching this I see how shady ginger was lol
She was the worst no bs. I did NOT appreciate her & Kennedys peanut butter & jealous esthetic
They are the worst.. remember when they bully max they are old and insecure thats why violet won.. she paved the way for drag queen for the fashion world to recognize it more than ever
I rewatched s7 a few weeks ago and the bitter old lady brigade really grind my gears. It's baffling how so much people thinks it's okay to root for them.
@@woobaby3683 because it was 6+ years ago?? People change lmao
@@mxrtin629 I'm referring to from the time it aired to now. Ginger hasn't changed and neither has Jasmine. They're still so bitchy.
It's rare to see someone so young be so confident. She's a special person. A true beauty.
If anyone talked to RuPaul the way that Violet has in the passed, they would IMMEDIATELY lose that crown.
Well, we have Pearl lol
“sick of having to work with people that are not myself” SAMEEE
Katya living for violet’s reads is killing me
The “gurl that makes no sense” edited in when she’s talking to ginger got me so hard. Why would she even say that lol
I love how she wasn’t afraid to trash talk the judges. That “boy” comment from Michelle REALLY hurt Violet especially since she revealed she was struggling a lot with her gender during this time. She was confident in herself and wasn’t afraid to talk some shit😏 she’s one of my favorite drag queens and I’m happy that she won
the iconic "do you sew? i forget." towards tracy should be the most iconic.. xD
*"DID YOU SEW THAT?"*
Violet is my favorite winnner because she knows she’s fierce, yet at the same time does not sabotage or feel the need to demean others to get ahead. She’s confident and people can misinterpret that.
One of the best winners. Iconic.
"I really hate Michelle"
- continuously reads and roasts Michelle low-key
The feeling, I share it. I, too, dislike Michelle
I don’t know if it’s the edits or how it actually happens but she seems to get mad at any of the judges who disagree with her too. Girl! Get over it! Everybody likes what they like and it it’s not personal…wait for it…”it’s drag”!
"Violet did you sinched?" "No i have a hog body" 💀💀 i love how she teased michelle
Can't forget the following season finale when she came out with that iconic, jaw-dropping look! That needed to be in this video.
The best thing about Violet is her confidence. Mix that with impeccable taste and no one can tell her nothing 💫
Katya: 'Violet, you have something that I don't have -'
Violet: 'BEAUTY?'
☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
3:21 omg katya's reaction was the cutest
Violet is one of the very few young fashion queens with a strong personality. Fashion queens don't often have strong personalities.
Is there something in my face?
she wasn't just a fashion queen as well, she had a very particular vibe and aesthetic that she was going for.
Love how they tried to find nerves or get her shaken up but that confidence is next level.
she won the moment that reveal happen and i have no complaints :)
i love the little katya and violet moments. so pure.
Ginger did not just ask “does it scare you you’ve never been in the bottom and have had to LSFYL”
LMFAAOO like yeah girl it’s freighting that i just keep killing it ! shaking in my boots!!
Violet chachki how possible is being so pretty fashion and perfect in so obsessed
violet is not afraid to be a hater and i love her for that tbh
I think the "Did you sew this?" from the pit stop clip with Trixie should have been included.
Violet always keeps it real and that’s what I love about her. Some people just can’t handle it when someone doesn’t play the humility game AND is confident enough to not fake being “nice”. I’d rather a queen who tells it as it is to my face rather than someone who’s nice to my face but stabs me from behind.
3:29 Omg Trixie is so cute tho
There’s just something about Violet that I just love 🫶🏾
I love her so much.
violet did you cinch? “no i have a hog body” ICONIC
I love Adore's reaction to this moment in the Countdown Episode.
"You call that a 'hog body', bitch? Fail! #Fail!"
i love her but that *oooh la la la lalalala* lives on my nightmares rent free
Imagine if she just said “come through” instead.
the way this is edited, it looks like she won the hello kitty package as thanks for killing that fly lol
the thing i loved most is how kennedy and ginger said violet had zero experience therefore she didn't deserve the win. how funny, she literally kicked their asses, i bet both kennedy and ginger felt incredibly humiliated.
I mean like periodt but i wanted to see her s8 crowning
ginger: you're really good, does that scare you?
violet: 😀 hello?
4:52 C O M E T H R U ! ! !
They all had such baby faces here! Trixie looked so cute🥺!
Violet screaming "COME THROUGH" in that cute hello kitty princess outfit is just *I C O N I C*
“i hate michelle visage” she was brave enough to say what we were all thinking
Where’s the moment when she made Ru uncomfortable by flirting with Santino???
That's in the 11th episode when Santino ans Rupaul were in the werkroom talking with the queens
@@lilostitch8996 girl…I know! I was asking why it was left out of the compilation 🤣🤣🤣
@@christianurena510 Oooh... Sorry i guess 🤣🤣 but that's true tho even I was uncomfortable
I'm missing a lot of my favorite moments too, but let's be real, "Violet Chachki being iconic" should just be a video of everything she did throughout the season
I love Violet! The Moment she had that reveal in the first challenge, I knew she will win.
Violet has some of the most iconic looks ever on RPDR. Am in envy of her.
0:45 Michelle: ... cause I'm getting B-O-Y.
Violet has the right to be upset; in these seasons nowadays they have pants, ballet flats and straight white men.
When she roasted Trixie and Katya said "that was good!" was the beginning of something
Violet Chachki is the epitome of "slay".
How you skipped the bit where Fame tells Ru she's doing Donatella and violet turns around in the funniest face ever
violet cant be str8 not even for 6 nanoseconds 🤣🤣🤣 6 minutes is a lifetime for her
I need some of that confidence! What a queen 🎀👑👸👑🎀🔮💙✨
can the drag gods bless me with where that last clip came from?
Violet gorgeous in drag gorgeous out of drag
Violet is arguably one of the best winners of all time. Extreme confidence and fashion. No one like her
i had such a crush on her by the end of the season
4:36 makes it seem like Violet won for killing that fly
All of these comments are just one person omfggg😭✋🏽🤣🤣🤣
I knowww idk why 😭🤣
@@fandompearl LMFAOO
I feel like we're watching someone have a breakdown and Violet being iconic just sent them off the edge.
@@jonscreen7698 oh god-😭🤣
5:06 Pearl being unbothered for 6 mins straight is THE VIBE
The last fucking clip is my last 3 braincells I swear
“Learning choreo is not my strongsuit…”
and here she is doing aerials now! SO IMPRESSED
