Glad I saw your video!! I was going to sell my Teryx to buy a Rmax as I thought the Rmax would have way more articulation but in the video the slightest frame twist and the wheels were off the ground, no better then the Teryx in the articulation department, lol! Thanks again, money saved, hahaha
Very good but unbiased video. Shows how capable all these machines are. I have a 2019 Teryx that my riding group calls the goat because it just goes wherever its pointed lol.
nice ride .. would love to try that trail someday, looking at a yamaha , that stock wolverine x 2 did a pretty good job, as did all the bikes. Great play by play and tips !
The hole that you told him to put his tire in on the RMAX, I almost rolled My Brute Force in a week ago. I ran my tires too slack that day, and it effected my stability. Thank goodness for a stranger grabbing my front rack, because I was in trouble. Waiting patently to see what Kawasaki is coming out with next month. Been thinking about getting an RMAX 4.
The Teryx performed as good or better than all the other machines. It retails for 8,100 less than the rmax, with a lot better warranty. Not the most popular or sporty look, but capable as any & definitely best bang for your buck!
Good video. Not many videos with the rmax other then test driving it. So I’m definitely glad to see a trail riding video with our max and the OG wolverine in it. Thinking about selling the old razor 800s and making a move towards the wolverine Or the KRX really indecisive. Any advice on which one you think is better.
Depends on what your intended use is for it. If you need a dump bed than the Rmax is the way to go for sure. If going fast over rough terrain is your thing, then the KRX is hard to beat with its superior suspension.
What I learned is that the KRX 1000 with 35's makes it look easy, or maybe it was the driver (had you run that trail before?) but the other guys with smaller rigs could make it, they just needed some expert spotting to hit a very precise line. Did going from the 31's to the 35's on the KRX make a really big difference in the technical? Do you guys ride this kind of stuff a lot?
Just being honest, the clearance the 35s gives the KRX in this kind of stuff makes it like cheating. I have ran this trail many times over the years, but can be a lot more lazy with line choice just because of the additional clearance.
@@rightcoastoffroad has the KRX been reliable and have you checked into a turbo for it. I've been watching what you all have been doing to it. I've got maybe a month more of physical therapy and I believe that's what I'm buying
The Teryx is so underrated. What they lack for (barely) I clearance or power they make up for in being over built. Can’t tell you how many of our group rides have ended with Polaris and Can-ams with bent this or broke that. I take my Teryx 4 and just get after it and I’ve never broken anything. Not having to worry about being gentle on your machine opens up a whole world of opportunities lol.
I don’t have a ton of experience with sxs but am looking at two Monday 2019 rspec 360 miles and a teryx le 91 miles ,both dump beds which I am looking for , just wanted your opinion on them ,both mint same accessories both $11500 any info would be appreciated.
They are honestly two different machines for different purposes. The KRX is a full sport machine with far superior suspension/wheelbase and comes with factory beadlocks. The RMAX is the best sport utility out there, but its still a sport utility at the end of the day with less suspension. If all you care about is going fast, get the krx. If you need a dump bed, get the rmax.
@@rightcoastoffroadi have been leaning towards krx. It's just difficult because I've had 5 yamaha quads that have never let me down. I don't need a dump bed that's for sure
@@rizaptor7005 hi, fmr wolverine X2 XTR owner. Traded in the the KRX and I can say I trust absolutely everything on the Kawi more than the Yamaha. The Yamaha was 100% reliable for me, and ain't no Polaris, but it just speaks to the quality of the KRX. Also, I should mention my wife and I are both quite large people. I've hammered the crap out of the KRX with no issues and it's doing it while essentially carrying max capacity.

Man I would love to do this on the weekends. First step is to buy one!
Nicely done by all. Thanks for sharing.
Taking my RMAX to URE for the first time this Sunday. I live about an hour from there. Should be fun.
Watching this makes me happy I got the KRX 1000

I think you will see a Teryx 1000 4 seater very similar to the Rmax
@@rightcoastoffroad Hope so!
Cool video to watch, since it had my last ride(2017 wolverine rspec se) and my current (2020 red talon r).
I always like seeing how different machines perform in similar terrain.

Agree 100%. It's the Toyota pickup of the utv world.
@@rightcoastoffroad I want an rmax4 really bad but it's a bit spendy. Maybe in a few years. Stick with my 700 Kodiak for now.
First time watching ya'll, cool stuff, just put some terra bites on the viking and they are doing great.
I might run those in a 32 on my other wheel and see how they do.
Gen 1 Wolverine. Nice!
Also, I run those gbc dirt commanders at around 9 psi on the rocky stuff.
👍 RMAX👍

Cool video. Did I miss something, you have your stock muffler back on?
Threw it back on for a bit just to play with it, mbrp is on now though
Does the talon have a locker kit or standard i4wd?
Where is this? Great video too!
Uwharrie National Forest in NC
Bandit shocks
what size and tires are on the KRX?
The fella in the Kawasaki 800 did very well! Did the aftermarket shocks increase the ground clearance?
I believe they give you a few inches of clearance
They do add a little bit of ground clearance it helps ride quality a lot!!!

How do you think xt-300’s would do on this terrain?
Probably not very good since they don't have any lateral traction.

When did you go I went there yesterday
We were there last weekend.
Cool I had a lot of fun riding there
The angry Greek sounds like a pissed off salad
Haha
Like riding with my brothers kids 🤣
The teryx looks like a golf cart on steroids. It wheels though.
They are the Toyota trucks of the utv world!

They are nice, I hate they don't offer a full sport machine that fits my needs.
The guy talking is annoying
Easy fix, turn the volume down!
