    Love how your “bottom lining” these patterns….very helpful, and thanks for the ways to say know. Learning the short phrases to say to clients is so helpful.

    Just starting out too, and faced with people who I KNOW are not ideal clients. But I figure it's a learning experience initially - all with the aim of getting experience to develop a niche, and to fine-tune business processes and procedures. Still, there are limits to everything.....

      John, you are correct. You will take on clients who are less than ideal in the beginning as long as you know what your ultimate goal is. That's what I did.
