    Being in Australia, I have found reviews like yours, as well as others in Malaysia and India (etc), to be far more relevant than just relying on stuff out of North America, as they tend to lean too much on big, heavy, expensive bikes. True, my last bike was a Goldwing GL 1000, but you can often get more out of something lighter, between 250cc and 700cc.
    Good work, and I am glad I came across your channel. 😊

      Thanks for watching buddy! You are right that sometimes you can get more out of smaller cc motorcycles. Like off roading or city commuting, sometimes the smaller and lighter bikes make a big difference. 😄👌

      @@ajaychoudhary9817 I'm American and ride a Rebel 300 to commute to work. I have to say it's on the edge of what is safe to ride on the highway and keep up with traffic, but it does it. This bike looks great, like it ripped off Royal Enfield Meteor. I'd have one if I was in the market.

      It's a symptom of our urban design unfortunately. I own a 350cc and it works for me cause I live in Chicago; But the majority of US urban areas are still interstate/highway/route dependent. It is notttt a good feeling to have any car breathing down your neck while you're fully on the throttle in 5th barely going 60mph, let alone a Ford F150 or some other lifted truck. So I can feel for why most here gravitate towards them.
      Big ups to Honda and Yamaha for kinda holding down the low displacement market Stateside with the rebel and mt03. KTM, Royal Enfield, Husqvarna, and now Triumph with their recent announcement really starting to bring the heat our way in the last 10 years or so

      We like what works best! I have a liter bike and a CBR300R for town. And if I’m going up on the interstate I take the big bike it’s a GSX-S1000! I also have 5 cars I take the one that fits what I’m doing that day best! And in two of those cars I have full stereo systems my dodge has a all Jl sound quality system and my work car has a DC audio SPL system built to be loud! I’m actually doing a new system in my mustang new edge! Already installed a high output alternator!

    • @dawnye69
      @dawnye69 Год назад +1

      @TommyTucker0 I believe The bike was actually specifically made for the Indian market as a direct competiton to the REs, because all the RE 350s sell huge numbers in India. So they only had to aim to slightly outperform the benchmarks RE bike.
      Lower power for a fixed displacement also means lesser stresses to account for in material quality so it keeps the costs low as well. They needed to aim specifically for the REs price segment in the Indian market.

    The new Triumph 400 single puts out 39.5 HP and the Honda 350 being only a little smaller is 20 HP. Not very often you can make a Honda look bad, but this does.

    • @TheRealWindlePoons
      @TheRealWindlePoons Год назад +5

      20 bhp is about the limit for a single cylinder 350cc air cooled engine, given modern emissions regulations. Boost the power and you will initially need to cool the oil: boost it more and you need water-cooling. More complexity, more weight and more stuff to go wrong.
      My first thought when I saw this is that its pretty much a Royal Enfield Hunter 350...
      If you want 40 hp then why not just get a bigger engine?

    Hello TRI33PLE, great video! However, the bike in this video is the Honda GB350S (Honda CB350RS) and not the Honda GB350 (Honda H’ness CB350). The model in the thumbnail is also not the Honda GB350S but the Honda GB350 instead. Hopefully you guys are able to correct this misinformation!
    I own a Honda H’ness CB350 (Honda GB350) and comparing to the Honda GB350S as per the video, the Honda GB350S (Honda CB350RS) is more of a tracker whilst the Honda GB350 (Honda H’ness CB350) is more of a modern classic.
    These are the 350cc models in JP/IN:
    JP (IN)
    GB350S (CB350RS)
    GB350 (H’ness CB350)
    GB350C (CB350)

  • @stevegandalf4739
    @stevegandalf4739 Год назад

    I have a Honda CB300R street naked style bike. I would guess that the 350cc engine in the GB350 was derived from this. It has been seriously detuned - 20bhp at 5500 rpm !!! In Europe, most people who buy a bike of this engine size and weight would expect at least 30bhp, and possibly nearer 35-36bhp for a bike released in 2022.
    Still there's nothing wrong if you want to ride along the highways at 90-100km/h or so, this bike should do it, but the engine doesn't have much in reserve at these speeds, especially in a bike that weighs around 180kg wet.

      Its a classic looking Honda seventies-eighties style but intends to compete with the Royal Enfield classic and hunter, much like triumph with their new 400 line. Nice bike but i wouldn't pay the extra 5800 Singaporean dollars it costs in SG, because thats 5800 more than we would pay for the same bike in Thailand. I would not give the SG Gov. 5800 bucks for free, especially since they are denying my son his rights to article 10 of the world convention on the rights of the child and do not allow him to leave his own country from age 6 to age 16, which is a human rights crime he cannot even leave Singapore to come see his dad. So xxcl Singapore its a poop hole of hidden corrupt government officials pretending to be the squeaky clean nation it isn't. The can't even answer or explain how case FC/OSG 139/2015 Guardianship of Infants act was unlawfully deleted by a Judge without signed notice or permission (NOD) from the person who filed it, making Singaporean Judge guilty of treason. So i definitely wouldn't pay double price for this bike just to let Singaporean Politicians who are kidnapping my son, drink expensive Chinese Tea in the Raffles after the Minutes of the Masonic Lodge Closes

      Cant you buy here in Thailand register it here and just drive or send it over once a year and keep it as a foreign bike in MY? My dad was a conman he had his UK car in Spain, the Spanish car in Belgium and the Belgian car in UK before EU. So they couldn't check his renewal and he never did. Free! In this case however, you would be pay8ing the tiny costs of registration in Thailand and just drive it in to MY .. you will only get checked for full or empty petrol tank thats all. You can own a Thai bike and keep it in Malaysia bro, it is an often used legal workaround

    Totally wrong to talk about speed performance on this kind of bike. This is an easy urban cruiser, people don't race with this. You don't need crazy brake rotors or calipers as this is not a speed monster. As for maintenance I can only see engine oil change, drive chain maintenance and replacement as scheduled. Nothing much else to fiddle around. Tyres, spark plug, filter and battery are the other normal stuffs. Honda can't go wrong on the reliability of this engine. A very good competitor in the Indian Market if the price is also competitive.
