Who is Jeff, the old owner of Squadron? By the end of the old management period I rarely frequented them. They practically never had anything in stock unless it was Trumpeter or Hobby Boss; Plus their own branded stuff.
I know Brandon here is the new owner though I think he's only had it a couple of years? I'm glad to see some True Details stuff come back but I'm still waiting on my 1/72 PBY-5A wheels.

Jef was gone by the time everything was auctioned off and we bought it all up and moved it to Georgia.

@@SquadronMMD I'm actually really looking forward to hearing that story. I mean Squadron is synonymous with model building in the US, IMO.

Heya Brandon, a little suggestion from the peanut gallery here; You might wanna have a camera positioned off to the side that focuses down at the table so you can switch back & forth between the two cameras so you can do close ups of the parts rather than being so far away. I know something I look for now are how detailed the interior bits are, whether it's a complete tub or if the sidewalls have detail plus good detail throughout. Engine details are important because warplanes of this period basically are built around a power plant. (With a few exceptions.) Landing gear bay details are something else I look for in modern kits.
    I know you're going to have a lot more 1/48, 1/35 & 1/32 stuff to show off than 1/72 or 1/144 but it'd still be nice. 😄

That’s a great idea…. I will try that on a video for next week!! What kit would you like to see me open up?

@@SquadronMMD How about that new ICM 1/72 scale OV-10A Bronco? Twin boom birds are among some of my favorite types & I'd like to see if it's superior to the old Academy kit or not. A side by side of their new Mitsubishi Ki-21-Ia "Sally" & Mitsubishi Ki-21-Ib "Sally" would be interesting too!

@@athelwulfgalland Sure, I can do that... the new Bronco should be here in a couple of weeks, and I will see if we can get the Sally kits out for a What's in the box review this week or next!
