The call was liberally salted with the N-word and general profanity as the caller screamed about the “theft”. Me: Ma’am, please calm down and let me get some information. Her: a car full of N- just stole some gas. Me: Can you describe the car? Her: It was full of N-. Me: What color is the car? Her: I don’t know. White? It was full of N-. Me: Did you get the license plate number? Or what state it was from? Her: It was headed East and full of N- I did get enough useful info to relay the (clearly non-emergency) information to highway patrol who stopped the vehicle about 30 miles down the road. (Standard procedure at the time, nothing to do with the skin color of the occupants). They were very gracious when he asked them about it and showed him their receipt. She was so focused on their skin color she didn’t notice who was driving the car that actually drove off without paying. I took some very disturbIng calls over the years; murders, hostage situations, domestic violence , but that one still sticks in my mind. So hateful, so unnecessary.

I found so much relief and insight from black stand up comedians around these issues. That, or from other minority groups. The world is so stressful now, people appreciate a good laugh because it’s rare. If you’re interested, I honestly suggest looking up such stand up comedians on Netflix, RUclips, Spotify or anywhere else you might find. Witty geniuses. I find it unfair that intelligence and charisma in blacks isn’t as emphasized as emotional and physical strength in blacks, if you ask me.

When I called 911 twice over prowlers on my property the honest blackman gets rude nasty treatment from 911 operators when they hear my black voice, but 4 cops show up when a White woman calls about a missing cat.
