I'll never forget one little juvenile who was watching jealously as his baby sister nursed. She started falling asleep and would let the nipple pop out of her mouth and automatically latch on again. Big brother watched for a while then once when she let go of the nipple he oh-so-gently cradled her head in his hand and latched onto the nipple himself. Mom didn't notice for a minute or two, but ohhhh, the smack he got when she finally did. . .
Dolly may be playing the long game, she finally has someone to take care of her in old age (aka Desirey will choose her nursing home!). It was kind of funny when Desirey tried to use Krissy to make her mom jealous. Nice of Krissy to step in and she certainly has a lot of experience calming babies when their mom has turned the milk tap off. I think once Desirey and Dolly finish the weaning process they'll be best friends for life. Dolly obviously adores her daughter and Desirey isn't often seen playing with peers so I think the stage is set for them to be thick as thieves before too long.

Dolly has definitely gone soft in her old age. Both Baty and Spocky had it much harder then their little sister that's for sure. I remember when Dolly was weaning Baty, on one occasion Baty was trying everything for a drink at the bar. Dolly fed up with his antics and temper tantrums popped him on her back and kindly carried him to the little stream they use for drinking and allowed him to get a drink.....of water. Thank you so much for the prayers, you guys you have no idea what that means to me. I am having a really bad time of it with this pain. I do have a doctors appointment tomorrow so we will see what my pain specialist has to say. I would go to the emergency room but I have been dealing with this condition for over 20 years and I know the extra medication will not help so I have ice packs all over trying to take the swelling down and I know the prayers are the number one thing that will help so thank you again your kindness fills my heart with such love.😊💕

Meaning, for the babies to grow up to be independent from the mother for food and nutrition. This mother, for some odd reason, had gone against natures instincts, and in the process has created an overgrown world infant, likely, for life.
