The Congregation of the Sisters of St Paul de Chartres

The Congregation of the Sisters of St Paul de Chartres (SPC) is a Roman Catholic missionary group founded in 1696 in France. They focus on teaching, nursing, and caring for the poor, orphans, the elderly, and the mentally ill. The congregation values sacrifice and service for the benefit of others, and has borne much fruit through the three interlinked apostolates of teaching, health care and pastoral care.
We have had the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres, exploring their mission, motivations, prayer practices, daily routines, and how we can discern God's call.

So glad to see so many young ones. Is this an Australian Vietnamese congregation? Is there a maximum age where one can still enter into religious life?

Thank you for your comment. Our Congregation is a French Congregation established since 1696. We are serving in 41 countries around the world. In Australia, we are missionaries from Hongkong and Vietnam.
The age might not be a focus in entering religious life but the motivation of entering religious life is more important to us because our life will be totally dedicated to God. However, the earlier the Sisters enter religious life, the more benefit they will have because they can experience more joy and happiness of serving and being with God.

They are all of Vietnamese ethnicity. It is beautiful, but it also raise the question whythere is hardly (if any)vocation among Caucasians? Religious vocation is a blessing to the family. Vocations are fostered in families that are strongly committed to their faith
