One question about the movie that I have is, how was the soundtrack? Because the original Omen had a creepy ass, fantastic soundtrack by the late great Jerry Goldsmith that is incredibly memorable and iconic. Was the soundtrack of The First Omen good as well?
YES! Not saying it's bad at all, but it's so.... inconsistent, some scenes were genuinely chilling to the bone kinda scary, for example the scene where Marg was locked into the so called " bad room ", and the FANTASTIC actress ( sorry I don't have her name ) that played the nun that light herself up and then jumped off the building slowly tweaking, moving, approaching from the pitch dark corner of the room, that was freaking fantastic, but there were also more than enough scenes that I can't elaborate here that I thought was.... meh? Almost tv series quality meh. I know this might be a bit of a reach, but the near ending scene where Marg was giving birth, that reminded me A LOT of Rosemary's Baby, which I assume they took some inspiration from for The First Omen. All in all it's really more like a 5.5/10, at most a 6/10 if I am willing to overlook the resemblance of Rosemary's Baby, and the oh so obvious Marg was actually the target all along not the other younger girl plot.....

Great score too! Mark Korven did a really good job!
Just saw it!Very good..had to sit through 20 commercials and 10 previews but it was worth it!
Gotta love sitting through all those trailers!
Is anyone else surprised that this movie has gotten better reviews than I was anticipating?
Very! I went into this film having little to no expectations.

Why do you hate the omen remake
@@tawandahove3448 because it’s the same movie as the original. With none of the creep factor.
