I remember Tony Vegas saying, a few years back, that Tigerstyle's problem was that he just wasn't getting many gigs. I suppose there isn't much work going for turntablists in the UK. Even the Pervs have had to stick to merely playing records, in order to make a living out of DJing. It's sad. Years ago, I wanted to try and make a living out of turntablism, but I knew it was impossible.

On the Vestax there's a button on the side of the mixer, under neath the fader, for switching between regular and hamster. He switches it with his pinky. Fucking insane...
A switch sometimes called a hamster switch on the mixer reverses the way the crossfader works. Some people prefer to scratch that way. I guess he is just a badass and has learnt to scratch both ways!

Tigerstyle has been going at it for years. He used to DJ with some guys I used to know. He's a nice bloke and did his first UK DMC final back in 1999.

I use crossfader reverse switch too, but Tigerstyle didn't switch it.
