- A motorcycle adventure from Sydney to Uluru in Australia.
Steve on a dr650 and Mike on a Versys 300, we set off on a 2 week trip.
A bad crash, and Steve flew back to Sydney. Mike carried on solo.

One more question - how was the bike on those massive paved sections?
I’ve currently got a Himalayan but find it too heavy so am looking seriously at the Versys.

@@alexjohnson3696 the versys 300 sits well at freeway speeds. It takes a little while to get there but once there it sits there happily and smooth.

@@rlands5134fd comfortable 400, more like 450, if you ride easy you might get 500.

Glad to hear your brother is doing OK. It's a long way from anywhere out there eh? Surprising how many people come along though. We covered a lot of this same ground when we did a trip last year.

The versys 300 will sit at any legal speed in Australia. It takes a little while to get up to speed but once there it cruises.
