Thanks for the upload. I can’t believe the amount of time that DFD has had their repeater turned off on their primary dispatch frequency back in the VHF days of the 80’s into the 90’s. I could never figure out any good reason for this.
I had the mixer-in frequency in the scanner along with the output and we did good. "Tac-1 scene, send help and more help" anyway I did really good some years listening to the PD on UHF. That repeater was pretty good on the east side. Sometimes the cops were being used to verify fires before the FD got sent.
It would be interesting to know what all of the firefighters and dispatchers who were working that night are up to now? Detroit has always had the best public safety dispatchers in my opinion.

Jeff K- not familiar with terminology, but is that why we only hear the dispatch side and not the apparatus?
@@detroitsignal6495 yes it is, if you also listen carefully you can hear some other things that are going on on nearby frequencies.
