- In this video, you will learn how to custom edit Premiere Pro templates from Motion Array. I walk you through an example Premiere Pro template I downloaded from Motion Array and walk you step by step through how to customize it within Adobe Premiere Pro. The basic overview and steps of how to edit this template can be applied to any template downloaded from Motion Array.
Motion Array is an online subscription website that allows you to download: stock footage, motion graphics templates, royalty free music, after effects templates, sound effects, premiere pro plugins and premiere pro presets easily into premiere pro. By installing Motion Array as an extension into Adobe Premiere Pro you can have unlimited and fast access to all that Motion Array has to offer.

@@8482tutorials You're welcome. I still have issues when trying to have a logo appear within an imported Motion Array template. I drag the logo into the timeline above the template, then down over the template, however when I do that and play it back all I see is my logo, without the template animation etc. Also, not sure how to edit any text lines that are available within the template.
@@HarleyThrottleJuice Can you share a link to the exact template you are working with so I can record a specific tutorial that will help you individually? Let me know! If not the simple answer is to make sure you open the “nested sequences” as far as you can before inserting your logo. If you send me the specific templates I’ll make a tutorial for you.

Do you have a video about editing titles in Motion Array PP templates? My text edits get cut off when I add any additional length to the text (which I suspect is due to masks) but I cannot find any masks to possibly modify them. Is it possible that these masks are blocked to changes?
Hey Tom, you will have to change the text size and make it smaller to fit within the masks or work with a different template. Definitely an issue with some Motion Array text templates. You can search “auto sizing” on motion array and might have better luck.
@8482 Media Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if it was me or simply a limitation of the template. I was so close to being able to create gorgeous customized titles, but I guess I'll just shrink the text to fit. Thanks again!
@@tomallenperspective Of course! If you can shrink the text in the Motion Graphics panel then you can increase the size of the full title by scaling it.

all it does when I click the template is load the files in the project window... tried dragging and dropping them but it just says footage... so lost.

My issue is the nested sequences won't allow me to change the duration. I have a slideshow template that Im making a demo reel with. But the duration of the placeholders are only 5 seconds. What if i want each clip to be a different duration.

Great video. What do you do if you don't have enough video content to fill up the templates? Can you show a tutorial on how to delete portions of the Motion Array template and just use a small part?
Thanks Jerod! I would recommend either placing different sections of the same video within the nested sequences of the template until the entire template is complete or only using a single nested sequence and only exporting a portion of the template. I will get a video recorded for you. Anything else you need help with?
My machine runs so slow trying to run these templates! Any suggestions?
You can try allocating more storage to Premiere or After Effects in settings. If that doesn't work the only options are to use simpler templates or upgrade your set-up. How bad is it?
