Never came across your channel until today. Subscribed. This is one of the best edited editing tutorials I have ever seen. It's very clear that you are very talented in multiple areas, not just editing. Looking forward to learning more and watching you grow here!
@@MriduNeog side note, its not roto scoping in your case. It's an art. Your roto's are clean and your liquid transitions and matte's are clean! Glad to have found your page
most people make videos on 'how to edit like a pro' and add in the OBVIOUS points! I'm like 'bruh I know that already, give me something really valuable for my time watching the video'. And your videos just do that, giving those extra values that I don't already know! Keep up the work man, great content, value for time ♥
The transitions, typo and even the cinematography of the whole scene looks like intermediate. Nike delivers an emotion to give you a hit of adrenaline. I didn’t even get a college project vibe from this video.
Thank you so much, took soo many notes on this to use for my 2023 Recap video for my portfolio and motion work. I really appreciate the "What do I want the Audience to feel & How will I achieve that?" objective, really helps keep things clear and intentional.
Im blown away right now. I watched this video without any expectations and i got so much information about editing overall. You did a helluva job explaining the thought process and I as a viewer really could feel ur professionalism and passion. Keep it up
not even going to lie, your attention to detail is amazing. Especially around 2:02 where you added a light wrap and even roto'd yourself out for like what, 12 frames? Amazing!
First time I see someone explain the reasons of his choices about color grading, I really appreciate that thank you. I searched some information about colors a long time ago and stopped because I haven't found what I was looking for, and it looks like you've got some videos that might enlighten me on the subject. 👌🔥
man i'm learning video editing currently and im at sound designing and i revisited this particular video and watched the whole sound designing loved it man
Great video! Really like how you explain the psychological aspects of the edits, otherwise known as the art direction where you want to guide the viewer in a certain direction. Good stuff, barely see that level of explanation these days ^^
I downloaded your video for reference before actually watching it. Just watched it and I must say you instantly got my subscription. Will definitely be going thru your other videos to improve on my editing. Thank you
Great video! Even for experienced editors. One tip. You have many mouth clicks in your voice parts. Try to declicker them. AU has an automatic feature. PR might as well. Alex Knickerbocker has some awesome videos for this topic and audio in general.
This was so good, so much information in one video. Most of it is stuff I already know but the production value and information provided on this in such a short amount of time was superb. Subscribed cause I know I can grab a few tricks from your creative process! Keep up the great work
Love your videom, especially you explaining your reasoning behind why you made the editing choices you did and how these relate to an audience. Subscribed and looking forward to learning more from you!
Amazing! I have like 3 month experience in short form editing, but now I have a project due in like a week, trailer for an event. Also I didn’t get to plan it out before. Thank you for all the information. 🙇 It’s a well deserved subscribe from me, I’ll be going through your content and learn as much as possible. Thank you, again! 🌟
Wildly educational (both your explanation and craft). You could have screen-recorded this info and call it a day, but your editing made this tutorial feel more like a documentary than a how-to-guide. Honestly, grade A shit - thanks for teaching us all something!
As a startup freelance video editor, all the information you shared in this video is super helpful and valuable for me! Love your work! Subscribing is a no-brainer! Looking forward to learn more from your content! 💪🚀
great video on the edit. feedback: the final scene where you showed your video, seperate out your edit board from the movie you made. By having the edit board there the watcher misses out on full immersion in your video, it reduces the impact of it. great tutorial, thank you
This is really, really impressive. Could you please give a bit more insight into your transitions on certain shots? How are you doing those? Looking at the timeline, they just look like one second motion blur / quick moving shots with the perfect sound effect with it. They blend really seamlessly.
That's exactly what it is. Nothing too complicated. There's a preset pack called acid bite and those transitions are known as light wipes. I Simply placed them so that it compliments the music
Great work man, solid edit and sound design! Can you tell me where you got your video transitions from? I really like them and I am wondering if they are stock footage. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Incredible work! I think the only thing I would've changed as a fellow creative is to get a different voiceover. The sound of his voice sounds like the narrator has been heavy drinking for 30 years.
This is a mind blowing tutorial! Wow..., I really impressed with your work. I gotten a gold channel to mine all my gold here. Thank you so much for your time in making this happen. Uganda 🇺🇬 we love u
