Right? I always imagined a post-credits cutscene in RDR1 one, set 30 or 40 years later, with a closeup shot of the vacant lot that one day becomes Beechers Hope showing an odd phenomenon on the land. The scene then switches to a young Dutch sitting at a saloon as he waits for Hosea to return from conning a socialite, when an older man walks in and asks Dutch to buy him a drink to help his aching back. Dutch asks for his name, and he replies, "I'm J...call me Uncle. They call me Uncle. I have lumbago, it's very serious." Then the title of Red Dead 3 appears on the screen.
“You’re not the boy I saved from eating spaghetti anymore, Jack. What’s happened to you? Those pickup lines are so creepy that Arthur told me he didn’t want to catch you later then.” -John
This is actually really sad to think about. After all the sacrifices John, Abigail and Arthur made so that Jack could have a good life, he ended up sounding almost exactly like Micah.
"They tell me I'm at my sexual peak sweetheart" "You sure know how to make a boy feel like a man" "Come on just one kiss" Jesus Christ jack, you got raised by a badass gunslinger, an entire gang, a guy who helped your dad escape and yet you still managed to have pickup lines weirder than quagmire
Arthur: *sigh* "i should've shot the boy when we were fishing" John: "i agree" Abigail: "ARTHUR!" Hosea: "Abigail, look at him. He's like a little version of Micah" Abigail: "why didn't you kill him Arthur?
there’s a line of dialogue you can have with jack in rdr2 that makes me think about low honor jack. Arthur: “Your growing up fast jack.” Jack: “Mama says that too uncle Arthur.” Arthur: “Just don’t turn into me, ok Jack?” Jack: “I won’t, I promise uncle Arthur.” The same kid who wouldn’t hurt a fly.
Now I understand why Jack preferred to read when he was young. He read books like: '100 pickup lines, you shouldnt use', 'Feminism and what can be done about it', 'The adventures of Jack the Ripper', 'How to grow your manhood by 3 inches', lol
As unfortunate and disturbing as it is, this really does feel like the more realistic outcome for Jack. I actually play Jack as a bloodthirsty little demon who kills Ross' family on the way to him. It's sad but thematically sounds that after everything John and Abigail did, they couldn't stop Jack from turning into this
These creeper lines are doing terrible things to my hormones. Love or hate Jack, these are absolutely hilarious. Whether or not for better or for worse is up to you.
The saddest part about all of this is that this is probably what he actually turns out to be in the canon. He grew up around outlaws and prostitutes and watched as everyone he knew and loved got hunted down and killed by lawmen and the army. Going through all of that must’ve broken him. He also feels suicidal by the end of the game too….such a dark and sad story.
Maybe so, but the only person he kills is the person that wronged him directly. You can make Jack kill Ross' wife and brother, but that's entirely optional and unnecessary. So I don't think he's a psychopath just based on that.
He's depressed either way but his honor changes how he reflects it. Low honor jack is sadistic and perverted a lot of his dialogue is him taking his anger out on people and animals. High honor jack keeps his calm but frequently shows hes depressed and suicidal even in just normal dialogue
I think it just depends more on how the player plays him, but then again I think the characters of the likes of John, Arthur and Jack probably just stayed somewhere in between the neutral spectrum
@@anotherrandomguy8871 I cant imagine Jack going on to live a normal life after all that trauma he went through. He’s not even 20 yet and he Iost everyone in his family.
That boy grew up in the worst environments for a child, his father abandoned him multiple times and was then killed by the government, he didn’t have any friends growing up apart from other adults who took care of him. Low honor Jack is sad but realistic
In MY canon Jack grows up to be the most horrendous outlaw. Like there’s no reason for John or Arthur (at the point of the game we all know) to do horrible things but Jack has nothing to live for and grew up in a shitty environment. I can’t believe people think he might become a writer.
Jesus, although I'm only in Chapter 3 of RDR2. Just from the camp conversations alone, Low Honor Jack seems to have a lot more in common with Micah than John.
@@No1name234no eh, to some extent I could understand. This though is just really insulting to John. Man literally died so his son and wife could have normal lives, and so many now say "nah that doesn't matter"
@@melodicsatisfactionproductions I think its the fact that Arthur is an amazingly well done character, and they for some reason decided to do John dirty in rdr2, through 90 percent of the game. As well as there being a sizable amount of people who've only played 2. Like man, John didn't have to be as goated as in rdr1 but he didn't have to be a complete buffoon either.

It's sad but thematically sounds that after everything John and Abigail did, they couldn't stop Jack from turning into this
John & Abigail crawl out of their graves just to smack the shit out of Jack for this
*Jack
@@lorenzinorod23 lmao I can't believe I forgot his name

Authur gonna give a smack too
That could be arranged
Arthur- “Give my damn hat back.”
These creeper lines are doing terrible things to my hormones. Love or hate Jack, these are absolutely hilarious. Whether or not for better or for worse is up to you.
low honor Arthur : cold
low honor John : ruthless
low honor Jack : creep & sad mf
Imagine what the CEO of Rockstar would’ve thought when he walks into the studio and here’s these lines
Either Jack got this from Micah or Uncle just gave Jack his own tips when he was younger.
in the "are you aroused as i am" line i swear you can hear the voice actor nearly break at the end lol
Jack is down horrendous
Down cataclysmic.
"I'm having wicked thoughts about you, lady."
"Keep it that way."
“I like an older wo-“
“*NO*”
0:30 that one caught me off guard and got a chuckle out of me lmao
The saddest part about all of this is that this is probably what he actually turns out to be in the canon. He grew up around outlaws and prostitutes and watched as everyone he knew and loved got hunted down and killed by lawmen and the army. Going through all of that must’ve broken him. He also feels suicidal by the end of the game too….such a dark and sad story.
He becomes like this only if you let him. But yeah he is more or less what you describe due to the life he had.
Turns out that jack was reading about how to pull all those years 😂
this is what Arthur sacrificed everything for
I love how she was so creeped out she literally glitched out of the chair 😂😂😂
That boy grew up in the worst environments for a child, his father abandoned him multiple times and was then killed by the government, he didn’t have any friends growing up apart from other adults who took care of him. Low honor Jack is sad but realistic
In MY canon Jack grows up to be the most horrendous outlaw. Like there’s no reason for John or Arthur (at the point of the game we all know) to do horrible things but Jack has nothing to live for and grew up in a shitty environment. I can’t believe people think he might become a writer.
The things a lack of a father does to someone
all the books he's been reading must have been fanfics
“I’d do anything to be that petticoat” is a diabolical line
Jesus, although I'm only in Chapter 3 of RDR2. Just from the camp conversations alone, Low Honor Jack seems to have a lot more in common with Micah than John.
I mean low honor John isn’t much better lol
Fatherless behavior, but he legit doesn’t have a father anymore, or mother I guess.

John did more directly, why ignore him?
@@No1name234no eh, to some extent I could understand. This though is just really insulting to John.
Man literally died so his son and wife could have normal lives, and so many now say "nah that doesn't matter"
@@melodicsatisfactionproductions I think its the fact that Arthur is an amazingly well done character, and they for some reason decided to do John dirty in rdr2, through 90 percent of the game. As well as there being a sizable amount of people who've only played 2. Like man, John didn't have to be as goated as in rdr1 but he didn't have to be a complete buffoon either.
@@MasterRaniel i loved rdr2 john, but i also never played rdr1. If rockstar released it for PC i think the respect for John would skyrocket

Wouldn't it be ironic if Jack in the 1920s and 30s become a mob boss running alcohol between the states and gets married to a young flapper.
I’d rather see that over the old gang
He eventually became a book writer though (GTA V Easter Egg)
@@ronaldd8741 If there was to be another Red Dead game I would prefer it be a Red Dead Revolver game that takes place in the height of the Wild West Era. If it is a Red Dead Redemption game like rdr3 I would prefer it takes place before the Blackwater job leading up to the beginning of Red Dead 2 or a spin off game that focused on what John was up to during the year he left the gang. A jack storyline would be cool but in a way it would turn into a Grand Theft Auto game as cars in the 20s and 30s were more and more common.
@@imamfn He does but we really don't know what he did after the events of rdr1 nor do we read Jack's book. In fact if you ask me Jack's book "Red Dead" could have been written in his later years and is composed of all three journals Arthur's, John's, and his own telling the epic story of an outlaw and gunslinger who sought redemption.

This is just another thing that Proves Dutch is indeed his real father... all these lines give off some major Dutch energy
"the image, of that bosom, has gotten me, through many a dark day."
I heard Dutch say that in isolation, but never found the source.
Idk if this makes him Dutch's kid, but a lot of who Low Honor Jack is as a person sort of resembles Dutch. And that's terrifying.
@@melodicsatisfactionproductions Do you know of a video on RUclips that shows him saying that ?

Someone better tell the RDR1 writers then since they made it a point to mention how much Jack looks like John at least a half dozen times in the epilogue.
