I thought the same thing when I first got into Islam but I went ahead and accepted it. I will admit that at that time I gone from not knowing if God exists or not to having no doubt that he exists and let me tell you it was pretty hard for me as well. After learning more about Islam and doing what I am supposed to do and letting go of the things I am supposed to, I feel more at ease and happier.This feeling will convince you to have faith eventually. It is a process, it doesn't happen overnight.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that "judeo-christian" is a term that was taken by a journalist who must have heard it in France. "Judéo-chrétien" is a well known term in France and I think that this term has been taken recently (by the 60's) by the jewish community in French universities to make a sort of alliance with the christian community of France, which is most of the french people. To understand all of that you must know the war of Algeria.

Hm..I was going to explain why I think that this term came back in France in the 60's, but it's kinda difficult to explain all of it. But I think that it was to make a distinction between the jews and the christians on one side and the muslims (who were the Algerian people immigrants) on the other side. The real purpose was to ensure that there was a difference of opinion between the integration of Jews in comparison with that of Muslims in France. French racism.
