Just like I wouldn't expect university drop out to be an authority on science either, of course you could be self taught, but Mr Green hasn't demonstrated any knowledge.
Well I think the main point here is that 'science' is not infallible. Aristotle disproven by Newton, then Newton by Einstein. We are constantly learning and improving on the 'science' of yesterday. As for quantum theory, not even a physicist can explain that in detail to a layman accurately. Didn't Feynman himself say: "If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't understand quantum mechanics." I never said Gates and Jobs were scientists. But I was implying a degree of wisdom / wise choices which made them successful. There are scientists on the college drop out list (see above link), like Buckminster Fuller. Bottom line: yes college degrees are important, but to say one cannot be wise, informed or intelligent without one...well, that's a statement that is simply not true. No problem with you disagreeing with Mr. Green's views, just a problem with disparaging those who did not finish their college degree. Peace. :)
