Well done lad, noticed mine today on a straight road sort of tram-lining. I always had a bit but I put it down mostly to my wheel size as my car is running 245’s but I’ll do this tomorrow and see how it goes, thanks for sharing
Is it necessary to lift up the car, or can i just tighten it a bit and pray it worked out? My jacking points are fukt so i try to avoid lifting my car up :)
great short and precise video, thanks!
Got this same issue on my 525i touring. Thanks for sharing, I’ll be trying it out.

I assume you tighten the nut back after the adjustment with the flathead?
Good DIY,,,will keep it in mind thanks.
If you turn to much the steering gets hard?
It do
thank you very much
thank you i did it too .there is no play.
Glad it worked out
Works for all models or 535i only?
I don't think it's limited to the 535i.
Common on all E32 and E34s
Only V8 has different steering box.
