im genuinely sad that this mod isnt getting more development. If this mod got the calamity treatment (infernum, community addons, etc) this could genuinely be solidified as one of the best mods made. the boss fights look really cool. The convective Wanderer boss immediately reminded me of Devourer of Gods from calamity, not just because its a worm, but because it looks like a difficult fight, but maintaining its beauty within that difficulty. I hope this mod gets the treatment it deserves.
The Convective Wanderer has to be a reference to the Ice Worm from Subnautica: Below Zero, which has a really similar design and I guess AI.
I'm working on getting a 1.4.4 port out! It should hopefully be finished at the end of next summer.

I love videos like this, discovering the contents of mods can be kind of hard even with boss checklist and recipe browser since frequently they have no wikis or very outdated ones. That also makes it hard to judge whether one would want to add it to their mod list on their next playthrough.
Yeah, that was even one of the things I wanted to do, check out mods without wikis and just see how it plays with little to no knowledge of it.
I remember some guy's video on Polarities where he discovered the star crossbow is unbelievably OP. Oneshotting bosses after some time of charging level of OP. Might've gotten nerfed since then though.
My only problem with Polarities in 1.4 is that it requires a Hitbox Libary mod, which for some reason makes worm bosses (or multi-entity bosses) lag so much (I talked in their server and yes, I was not the only person this has happen to). Still, the 1.3 version was the 2nd mod I've ever played after finishing Calamity and I loved it.
Also the modded weapons from the vanilla bosses are obtained if you No-Hit the bosses (basically don't receive any type of damage during a boss fight). The Polarities bosses drop No-Hit weapons as well, and they're so good.
Please check Mod of Redemption (it's in 1.4.4) next. That mod it's so good, so amazing, the amount of detail and care they put in it's insane.
Fun fact about the rift denizen: the circular laser can kill you in cs godmode/journey god mode

It seems like the nerfed the star balest, because it was one of the best weapons, easily demolishing every boss until WoF because of its ability to charge (seemingly) infinite fallen stars which will be shot out on mouse release, dealing insane damage
Maybe, I didn't really use it since it required starts and I didn't have any
One note: the salt biome does not play nice with multiplayer
i suggest to do the "another rpg" mod, it is a very good mod you can play it with calamity
Yeah, that's been suggested, though Calamity it a really big mod to try and do this idea with.
I found that the eater of worlds weapon may be dropped if you don’t take any damage.

is it now? See since I didn't look at the wiki or anything I didn't know what to call it though I guess I shoulda figure it out when limestone was all around me. And yeah, not a big fan of using cheat sheet but it became necessary.

When you no hit bosses they give you special weapons I was hoping that you would find out by yourself but I guess no one try to no hit most bosses most of the time, also it kind of sucks that you couldn't give polarities a fair run, maybe next time don't do a bazillion project all together and just focus on what you want to do
well that's the thing, I AM focusing on what I want to do XD. There's just too many things I want to do.
Just wondering mate, you ever played starbound? The modding scene over there is ludicrous and whilst maybe not so content worthy, definitely good for fun!
I played Starbound for all of five minutes before I stopped, though I do intend on getting to it sometime!

Well, we content creators don't have infinite time. Do as you will, but sometimes we need a handicap in order to make these videos more than once in a blue moon. Terraria's a long game and mods make it even longer. As much as I'd love to do a perfectly normal run for this one, I just couldn't. Not to mention, just about all creators use quality of life mods, including cheat sheet, but these other qol mods in some cases can skip even more of the grinding than cheat sheet
