    mixing up your own epoxy fileting compound is the proper material to blend in edges onto the steel body ( as a filler material). that roof is epoxy so regular body-filler will not adhere to that roof but epoxy will

    Your videos are really amasing! As 964 C2 driver since 21 years I appreciate them plently. If possible, please reduse the use of the word "here"

    Probably a stupid question, but wouldn´t it be better to use a nibbler for trimming the steel roof? Just discovered your account. Great stuff=)

      @islandworks  3 года назад +1

      Easy answer, I didn’t know what a nibbler was at the time… 😂

    just jokeJOB 😂😂😂 you cut the outer shel to flush with inner frame edge and not down to 2,5cm and open the roof frame profil for small piece of metall you lost a lot of stiffness at car frame, that like convartable, hope you compensate it at side skirts 😅😅😅😅 before you glue it would be better to protect the innerprofile and cutting edge with corrosion protection 🥳🥳 thats only begginer job 🤦‍♂️
    3M dp490 is good 2k glue but not for large surfaces 😜
