It works you just need to be patient. I have done the back of my hands. I did every 3-4 days for a month then once a week for a month. Then life got hectic and I stopped using it. Its been over a year since then and what hair has grown back. I have seen a noticeable reduction in the amount of hair.

IPL is NOT a LASER device. It works in the same principle of the photo flashes but MUST have a UV filter in front so it doesn´t affect the skin (usually a yellow tone filter). It is good to have a skin tone checking device so you don´t use higher power than advised!

I've done like IPL hair removal with Level 4 settings about 20 sessions , level 4 like 3 sessions and level 5 about 11 sessions and still my neck hair is growing though more slowly and lighter how much longer cause am a guy takes a lot of time which is so inconvenient. Though i do notice some parts grow back and some don't the process is slow, just don't know how many more sessions to be hair free. The sides of face and neck are more difficult. What do you think??

      @@iAepl Double wrong.
      A. This is an IPL device, not a laser. Intense pulsed light (IPL) and laser are both light sources. Intense pulsed light (IPL) uses a broad-spectrum light produced by a xenon lamp over a range of wavelengths from 500 nm to 1200 nm depending on the filter used. A laser emits single-spectrum light. Both can be used for e.g. cosmetic hair removal.
      B. Safety glasses should be worn during IPL treatment. Closing the eyes in addition when shooting the device makes common sense.
"The pigmented iris absorbs light in the same wavelength range of IPL, thus remaining vulnerable to IPL exposure, especially when applied to the periocular area. The fact that IPL is not a laser may give people a false sense of security regarding damage to the eye. The cases presented give evidence that periorbital IPL treatment may permanently affect pigmented intraocular structures. It is imperative for treating physicians to be aware of these hazards and to use appropriate eye protection to prevent ocular damage."

I've been very meticulous staying out of the sun wearing long clothes shaving and flashing ! ... all my sessions are done in a x3 flash on each spot ! ... my hands are pretty tanned now but the thing flashes normaly... no difference in feeling.... I have seen NO difference since last report.... no extra reduction... like it remained stable ... I can though point out that it does not work for me on my white hair... if it works it works on the darker hair.... I have not found any additional info on these devises to know if mine is maybe defective.... I am about to give up at least for the rest of the summer since I have not been to the beach and have been wearing long sweats to keep my skin white and the contrast with the hair high! ... but I think I'll take a break now... last session today... will let u know! cheerzzz 😎

@@BilalOz2012 thanks 4 fast reply and ur space ! Ur review is the most down to earth I found !... I've been using a similar not the same one ( they all looked the same 2 me 4j/cm flashers so bought the flashes vs cost effective) 3 months now or better said 8 sessions in approx 2 week intervals.... i am dark brown n white, fair skin not much hair growth and not dense or thick at all... and ive been doing full body except the privates (hands , half arms, underarms, chest, belly, full legs and last session also face/beard ) I use it on max setting and there is only a slight warm feeling and a very mild pop like a just feelable rubber band flick, doesn't matter which part of the body even over dark moles , I can even do 10 consecutive zaps on the same spot and only then will it get warm enough to say ok now its hot, it doesn't matter if its shaven or hairy hair will not burn or smell. I've done patch tests all this time to see if multiple zaps or more frequent sessions will make a difference ...none yet... was basically wondering if the device was defective ! (answer from local dealer...something to the effect of... what u expect its a toy !) .... So ...after 8 sessions I can say that there is hair reduction in some parts by maybe 20%, other parts none it even seems like zaping helps the hair grow faster ! ...at that rate if it continues successfully it will take a year + ! and at 6.3" a full body doesn't take hours, it takes days with that little thing ! hope I helped u guys some...any other info anyone needs pls just ask, if ive taken up too much space or time pls delete me. cheerzzz

This is not a laser device. This is an IPL device.

No, the results are not permanent.
The protocol varies depending on hair color, density, and the device used. It could e.g. be 10-15 treatments over the first 3-5 months with follow-up treatments once per 4 or 6 or 8 weeks. If treatments are stopped, hair will eventually grow back.
