If you take a closer look you realise that everything he‘s looking for is all around him, he just doesn‘t see it. There are also references to the band and their songs. For example the boy doing the Till-Hammer in slow motion, burning a doll (Puppe), Till stepping on an Edelweiss (Rosenrot)

I saw them here in Montreal, Canada last week. Unfortunately, they don’t play this one live. It’s one of my favorite songs on Zeit! Amazing band, as always !

I love how they're ripping the mick out of stereotypes in a way that is completely hilarious, yet easily relatable. We all know that women are more than just their 'puppies', just as men are more than their 'sausages'. This band is great at bringing stuff to your attention, I love it.
I see BP1 is still fumbling with his buttons (take that as you will 😁)
Seen Rammstein 10 times live and they are INCREDIBLE LIVE! ... they never take themselves seriously and obliterate any other band live and have done for at least the last decade! .. this is such an awesome and funny video!

This is definitely as song that needs to be played live by them this is an audience participation song to shout out for sure lol
A filter to get around copyright is not necessary on all Rammstein videos. They are all allowed as of about 3 months ago. The only exceptions are some live performances from the Paris DVD which aren't on RUclips. The ones currently on here are fine
That stuff was blocked till 3 months ago. They are allowed now. No need people watch poor quality fan cams no more or use filters and distortions

The brass band music played at the beginning can also be heard in the movie "Das Boot" when the submarine leaves the harbor in France.
For the next music video please do Angst with subtitles. The song has actually 3 layers to its meaning, relevant and current around the world, Germany and the USA. The video helps quite bit discovering at least two of the meanings.

The very intro of this song has a tinge of the intro of Hogan's heroes. The music is based on the old German song wooden heart which Elvis covered. I think the writer of the Hogan's hero theme based it on the wooden heart tune to take the piss outa the Germans. Just a theory
Let me just add that the original title is „Muss i denn zu Städtele hinaus“, wooden heart is the adaptions title. Elvis even sung the german version during his military time in germany. Sounds a little strange tbh…

I think this video have a deeper meaning behind the fun. Itere are several ways to be blind and results of the lack of sight. Ehhe
You are completely missing the point. At first sight it seems to be just a funny song. But this song has deeper grounds and double meanings as well. Most Rammstein songs, if not all, have. This song is basically about objectification of women, how men are obesessed with women’s breasts. The crossdresser also refers to this issue. It is also about having unrealistic expectations. He says he is’nt asking for much, but in fact he is asking the impossible. He wants a wife who is there only to please him and he offers nothing in return. That is completely unrealistic and absolutely not based on equality, even though he asks for a woman who is his equal in the lyrics. When you look more closely you will see that he already has everything he asks for all around him, but he just doesn’t see it. His blindness is probably a metaphore for ungratefullness and being unable to value what you have. It is always better to value what you have rather than to desire what you don't have.

Does anyone who saw the video and heard the music/lyrics still think that Germans have no humor?
And there are a lot of double and tripple means in the lyrics only natives understand. additional scenes which remind of "Heidi" or (badly made) German 1970s p*rn films. But the humor goes a bit deeper than just slapping fish in the face...
