I think you've had your finger on the pulse for a while. A few issues: Bull case: Grayscale holders weren't selling before so the lth to sth ratio from past isn't a fair comparison. There may be new institutional investors buying that won't be weak hands. Bear case: what happens on the long term charts has to happen on the lower tfs first. What if the distribution the last bear has to complete on the monthly chart and we get a utad and an even bigger bear? So many people talking about the dollar losing value and being so bullish on other assets. If we get a recession all assets will dump and for markets to get their rate cuts, a deflationary event is needed. I can't see how the fed can cut without such an event. I see a lot of selling on alts too but I do think there is one more move up for btc and a couple for alts. Alts seem to be in a lower tf distribution down to mitigate the last reaccumulation so there is still a higher tf distribution to go at least. If it was all easy to predict we would all be as rich as you are. 😅😅

What you have to realise is that the long: short ratio is not a strong metric this cycle due to the huge GBTC selling of long positions. Do not use this one with historical data.

This was actually really great. I think you are right. I don’t think it’s gonna go as high as everyone saying I don’t think it’s gonna be as long as bull market as everyone saying. Remember, everyone’s trying to sell the top. Better to be early than late. Any influencer who tells you their price prediction, will be selling 20% lower than that price.
Can you explain something, if I bought bitcoin 4 years ago , I would be a long term holder , but if I sold it at 69,000 then rebought it at 66,000 that would make me a short term holder , but its effectively the same bitcoin , I have still one bitcoin for 4 years

For example, presumably based on those metrics (in terms of LTHs selling to STHs), BlackRock is considered dumb money? At least based on the glassnode def of LTHs. I can't fault your trading record of course! But it sounds to me like you'll exit alts way too early.
