Hi stan ..yor videos are very informative..i was under the impression that this work was a dealer only ...but you have done a better job than the dealer...i have a b class and any normal garage wont change the transmission oil and filter and pointing me to dealer work shop.. Again well done
Lovely video...ive done one...not a job for the faint hearted...that electric plug on top of the gearbox is very difficult to remove....Bob...Paignton....
Hi… Thank you for the video and the steps. It is very useful. I followed all the steps, but something strange happened!! The sound comes out from the transmission only when the car has been left for a while and is cold and is clear when turning right or left!!! After the engine heats up, the sound disappears!! What is the reason for? how can fix it? Thx
I am about to start repairing these modules and I would like to thank you so much for all the information you have given us. Can you share what software you use to view the transmission pictures? That would be great you. Thank you so much again and god bless!!!

Hello , My mercedez b with CVT transmission makes whining noise when accelerating or in park or in N but the engage and speed is ok like normal I have checked with diagnostics i received these codes (1634 ,0657, D402, 0562) Can you please tell me what to do please.
Thanks for watching our channel My ECU fix came with lifetime warranty. And I didn't receive any complaint from the customer regarding that issue since then.
Thanks for watching our channel I highly recommend genuine Mercedes Benz ATF but if you live in the UK GSF also does after market ATF (febi belstein) brand made in Germany.
Thanks for watching our channel You may or may not, but you cannot remove the speed sensors themselves, there are two of them which are connected to the transmission control unit beneath the white coloured cover which is completely sealed and insulated from transmission fluid because the valve body integrated with transmission control unit, is sunken all the time in transmission fluid but the control unit underneath the white cover remains 100% insulated from transmission fluid. If you do the repair you may or may not be successful but you will not be able to reseal the TCU. And also the transmission fluid must be renewed after performing the repair. Note: I sent the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) to ECU repairing Company.
@@stanhopeautorepaircentrewardak I try to find the Venezuela Mercedes benz co. And take it to repair . Also other country or buy a new TCU in Europe Is that the way ?
Thanks for watching our channel The dealer who sells the part is Mercedes Benz, but i didn’t buy a new unit instead i repaired the vehicle owned unit by this company: ECU testing, if search this in Google you will get straight away to it.
Thanks for watching our channel Type y3/9b4 and y3/9b5 in the amazon search box then you will get the sensors but it is very hard to soldier it and make them work because the transmission control unit must be sealed off and runs dry without transmission fluid contamination.

You may have left a screw unremoved.
Does fixing this guarantee me success with my gearbox, how am I likely to drive again after the fix before I get the same problem?
